My favorite seen was when Devastator merged. When I saw the movie as a little kid, that scene stuck out to me quite vividly because that was the first time I ever saw a combiner.

I was born right after G1 has dies in the US. My parents htried to collect fragments of the toys and shows for me and the movie was my first taste of Transformers.

Also, I will be moving this to the TF cartoon section.

The favourite was when Optimus transformed and charged at the Decepticons

One of the most epic scenes (Along with the final fight between Optimus and Megatron), followed by Unicrons Transformation.

Galvatron has Hot Rod by the neck. He remarks how easily Autobots die by his hands. When all hope seems lost, a miracle happens. As Stan Bush's "The Touch" cues it beginning, the Matrix of Leadership begins to glow, reacting to Hot Rod's grasp on it. With Galvatron momentarily stunned by this, Hot Rod pulls both himself and the Matrix free from Galvatron's hold on each and stands up. He stares into the glow of the Matrix and the familiar voice of the deceased Optimus Prime speaks the words, "Arise, Rodimus Prime..." Such a powerful moment as it symbolizes that even Optimus is in full agreement with the Matrix's chosen bearer of Hot Rod as Optimus Prime's true successor. As these words are spoken, Hot Rod's body structure evolves: he grows much taller, his voice deepers, and his face gains a more mature complexion.

Galvatron attempts to stop this phenomenon by shooting at the Matrix, only to tick off Rodimus Prime, who declares that it is over for Galvatron. Rodimus charges at Galvatron, gives him a beating, and then throws him out of the giant body of Unicron (where he winds up depends on the supplementary fiction). Rodimus resumes his work with the Matrix and, with a cry of "Now, light our Darkest Hour!" he opens the Matrix, with its crystal core dangling from the string that holds it in place between its two shell pieces (no seriously, the core is held by a blink-and-you'll-miss-it string).

A massive burst of energy is released from the Matrix, which surges throughout the body of Unicron. As the other Autobots attempt to escape the titan, Daniel cries out, "Look!" In the distance, running at full force, Rodimus Prime out races a huge explosion behind him inside a tunnel. As he makes it to his comrades, before anyone can react to his new physique, he gives the iconic command of Autobot leadership: "Autobots, transform and roll out!" Assuming his altmode, Spike and Daniel climb aboard, and Kup states how he had always believed in Hot Rod's potential. As soon as the Autobots vacate Unicron through his eye, the Chaos Bringer breathes his final words, "Destiny...! You cannot... destroy... my... destiny--! as he explodes into a beautiful sight of bright green Angolmois.

On Cybertron, all the Autobots gather under their new leader who decrees this victory as the start of a new age of peace: "Let this mark the end of the Cybertronian wars, as we march forward to a new era of peace and happiness! 'Til All Are One!"
"'Til All Are One!"
"'Til All Are One!"

You got the touch!
You got the POWER...!
YEAH!

As the floating remains of Unicron's orbiting head circles around Cybertron, the closing credits begin to play with the Lion cover track of "The Transformers (Theme)"

I'll have to go with the first meeting and dialogue of Megs and Unicron, along with the reformatting of Galvatron and his gang.

Prime's shuttle lands. He's already deployed the Dinobots to deal with Devastator. As he sees the carnage his Spark hardens. "Megatron must be stopped... no matter the cost!" Cue transformation and the iconic 'The Touch' playing as Prime drives full-throttle upon the Decepticon elite.

First to fall is Thrust, bowled over. Blitzwing leaps out of the way and others fire back, but it simply bounces off Prime as he transforms and leaps up, ditching the trailer in an almost comedic bent. As he sails over, he picks the 'Cons off one by one, landing and blowing them away.

Not as good as Sabrblade, but I try. ;)

I'm not sure if it's my favourite scene, but the scene where Starscream literally shoots himself in the foot always makes me chuckle!

Gotta be the part just after the opening credits/star war intro finishes, with Laserbeak spying on the Autobots moonbase, decent dialogue and the backing music is great.

Man, this is pretty tough! I'd have to say it's either the part where Optimus is beating the crap out of 'cons left and right, or after the Optimus-Megatron battle when 'Screamer kicks Megatron in the gut! :D

The whole movie was one freaking awesome scene.

But if I have to be specific, as much as I would like to honor my sig screen cap and say Hot Rod becoming Prime, there's one scene that outdoes even that for me, and that's Unicron's transformation. I am awed every time even after 25 years when I watch the movie. It was great animation and it showed what an awesome power Unicron was.

absolutely loved primes opening battle as he blasted away the cons and how he beat the crap out of megs despite the useless hotrod interfering. honestly how stupid can you get? really?! prime has beaten megatron across the galaxy in single combat for ages and hotrod actually believes he can "help"!? as if prime ever needed his help. it is laughable and pathetic.

also loved the reformatting of megatron and the other dying decepticons by unicron. beautiful and definitely set a new style imo.

lastly, loved the other scene when unicron transforms and tears apart cybertron! we need more unicron figures the black and an even better movie accurate MASTERPIECE UNICRON! bring it! make it happen!!!! :APPLAUSE:

I always grab my Battle in Space Hot Rod and have my 25th Anniversery Optimus Prime beat the snot out of Hot Rod, having Optimus rant on: "YOU IDIOT YOU COST ME A WHOLE SEASON. THAT'S OVER 30 EPISODES. AND YOU MADE THEM LITTLE KIDS OF THE 80s CRY I HATE YOU!"

:D If I get G1 Hot Rod it will be SO much better!
