What was your first known TF toy?

Postby ChromedomeMK2 » Sat Jul 07, 2007 12:06 pm

My frist ever known TF toy was
G 1 Highbrow
My Dad brought him in 1992 when he was in Hong Kong.
At that time I love Helicopters so I enjoyed playing him and wacthing the headmaster anime until
I lost him and his little driver when I shifted home.

If I can remeber well when I was 3 yers old. I had the Aerialbots gift set when I was in France, the Silverbolt toy had spring powered launcher mechanism and all the toys had di-cast chest. But that was before I was introduced
to TFs so I did not know and I lost everything that was from the gift set when I was 4 or 5 years. :-?

Mine was the G1 Sunstreaker. I kind of broke him on the first day (his spoiler came right off), but otherwise, he was my favorite, and still is. I don't know why i like him, I just do. Still have him...what's left of the poor fella.

For some reason I was very drawn in to a bright green purple spotted tank.

Man-e-faces! No no...that was he-man. And my first He-man was He-man and then Skeletor.

Damn...first transformer...first transformer....hmmm. I know I had a ton of them but the first...god I don't remember. I'd say it was probably Blitzwing. I got him for my 6th birthday. I had quite a few of them including devastator, abominus, computron, etc but I didn't get those until like 87 when my dad got a decent job.

Ah to be an adult with tons of money to waste...lol. My first one since I started this year....Classics Hot Rod. From there it snowballed...lol.

My 1st TF toy was G1 Starscream (don't have that toy anymore). I was like 4 or 5 and my mom told me that when my dad got it for me, she said it was more for him then me, LOL. But my dad did give it to me.
Long live the Decepticons!! I love G1 Starscream!!

Don't tell Starscream, but I'm in love with movieverse Ironhide! ;)

mine was beast war silverbolt and rhinox transmetal. I am only 15 so i was born near the beast war era and i have always loved it.I also can not wait for this new animated serries well i was not born any where near g1 but the new animated serries sounds cool Blitzwing a tripple changer and close to g1,megatron a gun and a jet, starscream sound similar to cris lata and looks like cyclonus in jet mode, My favorite to come GRIMLOCK i have only watch one g1 and that was the movie but as much as I love all megatrons Grimlock will always be my favorite and i also hear he is close to g1. So these new toy are going to kick some A. But I got silverbot and rhinox when i was sick i remember my dad went all the way to the store to get them for me just becuase they were my favorite.Wow i just wrote a biography of my childhood I LUV BEAST WARS!

Weapon: Air Rifle
If I remember I had a G1 Grimlock as my first, and then Laser Prime as my second. Bit of a release gap, so I assume my Grimlock came from a carboot sale.

Don't have em any more. My mom threw em away and lied to me, saying that they were in the attic.

I hate her for that

Optimus Prime. g2 most likely as not, as I'm not quite old enough for G1.

It was either a G2 Motormouth, a used G1 Blaster, or a G2 Space Case(I still have all of them, btw). Oh, or it could have been a G2 Blast-Off....

I honestly can't remember which order I got them in, but I remember getting each one:

My uncle gave me Blaster, and I got the other three from a drug-store that we went to.

Space Case I think is still my favorite TF...

Don't mean to go off topic, but why does it say you joined Dec 31 1969? That makes no sense.

The first one was Flamecon Cindersaur, a "just cause" gift from my father. At that time, being a german kid without cable TV, I had no idea what he was, so I used him to bolster Skeletor's army.

A little while later, I won the equivalent of.. hmm.. let's say 50 Dollars somewhere and went on a tiny shopping spree. I saw Targetmaster Quickmix on the store's helf and really liked the concept. And so it began...

Don't tell the people on tfw2005 that though, they'll lynch you if you say he was packaged with him.

some other members say that they joined in 1969. so my guess, it was some kind of error. mine was cybertron optimus prime, but my very first tf (as far as i know) is a mcdonalds tankor.
