Whatever happened to that TFCC-eHobby partnership thing?

I seem to remember an announcement about TFCC and e-Hobby teaming up. We all assumed it meant that Japan would get TFCC exclusives and the West would get e-Hobby exclusives. So has anything come of this yet?

The first offering is the G1 shattered glass Soundwave and Blaster set. It should be releasing soon. Looks a little like this
