The whole sector 7 deal, doesn't give me the slightest 'transformer vibe'

The fact of the matter is, if this was a real life scenaro. The US government would have a designated team who's been trained to deal with this type of event. We spend over 300 Billion dollars a year in defense. We have a contingency plan for everything. The president wouldn't send the local sherrifs to handle a situation like this, or the FBI, this type of information is beyond clasified. So naturually the agents involved would be classified too(Men in Black). If that doesn't seem real to you then you have no idea how our defense apparatus operates.
Aaaw that's so cute. I'll keep this short.
1. I'm not american and it's down right arrogant to assume everyone here is. Welcome to the internet.
2. Since when was the transformers about realism? or America's security issue's?
3. No I haven't done a indepth research about America's defense apparatus and why should I?
4. I said that it doesn't give me a transformer vibe, so what the hell is your post about anyway? why quote me?

Im not american(YAY IM SO HAPPY!!LOL).... But you are right. I think there last "episode" was like watching a bad soap. I would rather spend my time watching somthing intresting like naruto shippuden or my new favorite death note.

1. I don't think he ever said you were.
2. Maybe not the robots, but knowing the US Government in sci-fi, it's probably much more realistic that they have some secret organization.
3. Good for you.
4. Me neither, and that's why it's better.

8)
NICE.

Yeah, a men in black dealie is more realistic.
But the thing that was cool about the show was that they were big freakin' robots that were near impossible to hide from the public.
2 seconds after waking up, they're running around attacking power plants and saving guys from burning oil rigs.
3 seconds later, everyone sees the Autobots are good, and their best hope in running damage control on these "evil Decepticon" guys.

I think that (a clever writer that doesn't use shitty cliche's) could've ditched that whole part of the story and devoted the free time to something cool and original.
Or something cool and G1.

Especially this day and age in after-9/11 America, the whole "Homeland Security" stuff doesn't need to be drilled into our heads anymore. We get it already. It's changed our lives. It's ..."normal".

1) it's not arrogant to assume most of us are American. quit reading so much into it and quit looking for a fight.
2) it was about realism when Bay said it was...never before that...it was a cartoon. cartoons are fake. maybe it's about American issues because it's an American movie? if it's supposed to be about something else, film it in your own country with your own issues. until then, shut up or don't see the movie
3) nobody is asking you to research anything
4) this ain't my fight

Cut ganymede2010 some slack Spoon, he or she is clearly new to the boards. They haven't seen all of the discussions on the topic you have nor is it fair of you to cast blame upon said individual because they thought they could put in their two cents. I'm not trying to bring the house down on you or anything like that, but lets just put the knife down ok:wink: (Besides, how was he suppose to know you don't live in the US if your location has to do with your naked lower torso :P )

I'll just reply to 1 and 4 here since in pure shadowman style you fail to make much sense.
1. He assumed it.
4. So basicly you are saying that you are not a fan of any of the original transformer stuff that became before? Since you just said you do not like the transformer 'vibe'. I take it you didn't grow up with G1 right?

Dude you have way too much faith in the American Government, if there is no Oil or money in it, Were not ready for Shit. The only thing The G-men would do is Cover it up, and Bush would be somewhere shitting hisself. and everything would be left up to the Army, Marines, and National Guard.

Weapon: Double-Barreled, Armor-Piercing Particle Beam Cann...
I just checked the Sector7 website's email section again. There's a new email about "decoded audio files" that has two audio samples from someone that Dr. Rebecca Howards considers a potential ally. They're garbled, as neither are fully translated, but at certain points you can make out the voice of who she wants to contact.
