Kabaya Weirdwolf. I love that he's scout size. He looks great in wolf mode alongside Carnivac or Snapdragon. I don't mind that he's red instead of yellow as it reminds me when he was miscoloured as Misfire in the Marvel comics after Shockwave's bombing of Scorponok's base.

I love my G1 Ironhide since I got the third party clip on head a few years ago. Really captures the spirit of the character and looks nice with Prowl, Jazz and co.

G1 Galvatron. My first Decepticon and second Transformer. His colouration in the recent RID comics seem to have resparked my love for the toy.

Oversized Korean Onslaught. He's the size of G1 Ultra Magnus. If all the G1 combiner toys had been made in this scale I'd have been in Heaven.

Generations Voyager Springer, thing is a work of art.

Hehe, he's great, isn't he? I'm telling you, the paint really looks perfect. Whoever did the actual work on the custom should be doing commissions if they aren't already because as I said before, it really looks like a professionally painted/factory Transformer, right down to the silver bits that fade into red on the gorilla chest. I really can't tell that it's a custom. And of course they used enamels too, so the paint doesn't flake at all and is totally solid when I mess with him and transform him (I've done so several times now without any loss of paint). I assume that all of the ones done at the show were done with enamels anyway though, since I believe they were using spray guns and I don't *think* acrylics are typically used with spray guns because of how they tend to get gummy (but I might be wrong on that).

ok, y'all are gonna think im crazy about this... but my favorite thing right now is botcon 2007 dirge, whom i have dubbed ramdirge.

out of all the classic seeker molds, for some reason ramjet is my favorite. and dirge has a special place in my heart (only seekers i had as a kid were dirge and thrust). i think thats the basis for my ramdirge affection.

even though hes a lazy ass figure (cause he obviously should have been remolded to be called dirge) the paint apps and color choices are beautiful! the little red highlights, yellow eyes against black face, and rich blue plastic is what makes this figure for me. i love it!

my massive collection of classics seekers, and especially how these dont cost an arm and a leg anymore is what prompted me to buy him. and im glad i did.

My MP 05 Megatron that I got recently as well as First Edition Prime Cliffjumper for some reason.

Came home to find a late birthday present from my wife and daughter.
MP acid storm and sunstorm. Two figures I totally passed on because of their paint schemes. Oddly enough they are beautiful in person.
Too bad I have to pack them away till school is done.

Crowbar, Hatchet, and Crankcase; still one of three of my favorite figures from the DotM line, if not the entire Movie line (and Cyberverse). OK, so Cranky isn't that good by himself, but the other two are beyond amazing so he gets a boost by association.

Why no AoE Cyberverse, Hasbro?!


Also dug out their rival Wreckers (well, Roadbuster and Leadfoot, don't have the other one) but they don't even compare.

Universe Blades (repaint of Cybertron Evac). I'd wanted him for a while and finally got one on ebay a few weeks ago. I love the idea of the character and the colour scheme looks awesome, I love both modes and I'm having loads of fun transforming him back and forth and posing the psycho rescue street fighter. The gimmicks and options for adjusting his look in robot mode have got me grinning like a child and I can't see him making the move from my desk to a display shelf any time soon. I'm knee deep in MISBs here but I just can't get past this wonderful chunk of red plastic. I'd forgotten how much fun heliformers are and I'm very glad he's reminded me because I've got quite a few to open. First though, back to Blades...

Hatchet is fantastic. But, what exactly is he? I guess he's a dog, since he sort of has a dog collar, but I've never seen a dog like that. Anyways, I'm actually very glad he's not movie accurate, because I adore the jet mode. His back paws hang out a bit too far in the back, but I've seen worse and it's a very solid mode, with the missiles making it even better.

I also wish there would have been a proper AOE Cyberverse line. I'm cutting down on the number of newer media deluxe and up figures I'm getting(though not too much since Hasbro keeps coming out with fantastic classic Universe figures!), but I would probably have eventually bought a Crosshairs, Drift, Hound, Galvatron, new mold Stinger, and Lockdown in Cyberverse scale if they were available. Something about their small, simple scale and transformation just makes them so appealing and fun.

Ok, so back to the thread at hand. My favorite thing right now? The AOE Dinobots, or at least the initial five(no Snarl or Slog yet). Because robot dinosaurs are awesome and transcend all logic. Slash is my least favorite, but I think I've fiddled with him a little more that some of the others because he has the most limitations when posing, thus making it a challenge to make him look cool. Don't like those weight lifting arms. Strafe is probably my favorite, because I enjoy flying alt. modes quite a bit, and I like the uniqueness of having two heads. The crossbow's a nice touch too, don't see those too often. However, he also has weight lifter arms. Why Hasbro, why? Does anyone like those kind of arms?

It has come to the point where I've bought so many figures recently, I've never actually stopped to think which one I really enjoyed.

I'll go back to my favorite of 2008. Universe (SDCC) Nemesis Prime. Only beaten by United Black Optimus, acquired in 2012.

A great mold and a great colour scheme. Probably all time favorite.

RotF voyager Optimus. He can do so many things better than the leader. Since making some trims around the knees to stop him going knock-kneed all the time I think he's amazing in every way.

Seriously this I would have bought the hell out of some cyberverse figures of this movie line. These guys and MP are my cup of tea now a days.

Beast Wars Depth Charge and Rampage. Not the best figures, but not the worst by far. I don't know what it is about them. Maybe it's the colors and nostalgia factor.

I'm having a ton of fun with AoE voyager Drift. I loved Skyhammer, but the swords, head, and color scheme just make the mold so much better.

Also picked up Legends Nemesis Prime today. That mold is one of the better Legends, and fiddling with Nemesis and Spinister has been great desk fodder.

Frankly, you're wrong on that. The paints used at the show were acrylics(I got the actual list used so I could do 2 commissioned Primals) and I use acrylics in airbrushes all the time(you never use ANY paint in an airbrush without thinning the paint).

Incidentally, Shajaki,I may be able to paint your Primal for you if you want, I've got a couple openings for commissions before my 1st kid comes at the end of October. PM me if interested.

Mind you, the original Black Convoy is still my pick, because he's unique and possesses character and ambition. Plus, I love the , no other group has that insignia.

I think Depth Charge is on of the best figures from the Beast line. He has so much play value and has an incredible design, and a very original alt mode

alright, so ive always liked the original cybershark, but he wasnt a great figure. my main beef was that hammerheaded nose missile thing. whats that good for other than being awkward? sharp edge though? that swordfish nose is just good enough to be be held as a second melee weapon in his hands! and his new head sculpt is pretty badass. any other BW fan reading this, i highly recommend him

kinda makes me want to pick up the "cyborg" version of the mold.
