Well I got my Bruticus, but not without some scare.

Bad news, HTS needs to seal boxes better... it came looking like this, giving me a heart attack:



Good news, everything seems to be fine... box seems to be in good shape:

SO THIS IS HOW I RECEIVED MY ITEM TODAY. DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE A PROBLEM? THE SHIPPING BOX LOOKS FLAWLESS BUT MY ITEM LOOKS LIKE THIS. AM I STUPID FOR BEING UPSET? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

What you should do is up to you. I'm not a MISB/perfect box stickler (I don't sell my toys EVER and I store boxes in a closet), but if you're not like me, you might have a chat with Hasbro about it or see about selling it and using the money to acquire one in better condition on the secondary market (ebay etc.).

I broke down and got SDCC Bruticus from ebay. I couldn't resist and I'm glad I did. It looks pretty awesome in hand and after playing with the configuration of Brawl a bit in leg mode (other than just transforming the foot part correctly as Optibotimus showed in his review) and doing a few tweaks to where the weapons were stored and some bits on the arms were aligned, he looks pretty sweet. I can't wait to get all the other repaints so I can do some real Scramble City stuff with him/them, though the SDCC colors are all pretty drab, so I don't know how they'll look combined with parts from other versions.

just got my Terrorcon Cliffjumper today, and it looks great. sad that i wont be able to get this version of Bruticus, but he's not worth $200 to me

Thanks, I grabbed a Terrorcon CJ, but missed on all others.

Received my shipment today, everything survived the trip with only minor dings and dents. I have another shipment coming, hope that one fares as well or better.

Damn, you made out like a bandit. Both CJ and Bruticus listing have been pulled off HTS.

Got my order late in the day yesterday. Everything got to me ok.
