I've been watching some 80's Transformers cartoons lately and just wondering which combiner is the tallest? Now, i'm going by from what i seen on the cartoons and on information, not any of the G1 toys! I would say that Predaking is the tallest, or does anyone feel ALL combiners are equal height?

I'd have to agree that Predaking would be taller than the regular Scramble City combiner or Devastator, including his wings. From the Japanese continuities, Raiden, King Poseidon and Liokaiser are strong contenders.

Predaking, that foo is huge!

In the cartoon they were usually drawn as being the same height when they shared the screen together. Devastator's height would change... but there were times that he'd be animated as being incredibly tall.

Ah, the perpetual inconsistencies with the animation was such an endearing quality, wasn't it?

I agree with you guys here about Predaking being the tallest. But I have to wonder why he was the tallest, considering the Predacons had taken on animal forms while most of the other combiner teams had adopted vehicles--which, for the most part, were larger than a lion, tiger, eagle and so on.

I don't know. It just makes me think.

I'd like to think Liokaiser would be a strong contender, too. He looks likes he'd be a exceptionally tall fellow.
