Fun fact #17492β:

Despite what people might tell you, you don't actually need wide, huge, active movements to use a Wiimote. You only need small little flicks.

I say again: Small flicks are all that's necessary. It's all you need to do to throw a quick jab. As for blocking, it doesn't take much to hold your arms in front of your face.

I find it great that the Wii gives you a "bit" of exercise. It may get rid of the stereotype that all gamers are fat, sloppy ,pigs.

Though Shadowman is right, small flicks are all thats needed.

Well once I played Wii Sports all day. got excited at golf and then got pissed off at baseball. Somewhere in there I pulled a muscle in my arm. Kinda weird since I play violin alot, I'm not really new to moving my arm :-P Just threw it the wrong way I guess

Small flicks aren't really that natural. Some people tend to do much better with the wider movements. For example I tend to do better in the Wii sports bowling by standing up and doing the whole bowling motion. While in tennis I can do it just fine sitting back and using my wrist.

But that's the boring way. Watching people fall about like goons is at least 50% of the Wii fun.

I thought that the commercials were over done!

So you only need small wrist movements really then, i can cope with that, beats sore thumbs!
