It could actually be a good gimmick if they put more care into each weapon in the same manner that Shockwave's received.

If it's going to end up being a lot of color-less blocks that fold out into a gun, no thank you.

If it's an interesting weapon that reconfigures into something cool and different while retaining different colors, let's do this.

Weapon: Dual-Sonic Disrupter Gun
I'm in the middle with this new gimmick! I think if they would have made them less like a happy meal toy and more like a weapon for a TF it would have worked better! At least this time around MOST figs have a decent gun and some are way better than others. Has anyone that bought SS take that gun and try it out on Gen Wheeljack, and someone please comment? If it fits right then I will get it cuz I was checking it out and was thinking it would be perfect for him.

As far as I'm concerned WJ has no weapon so he could definitely benefit if it works. I will say that I have my super glue ready cuz it's the only way...'nuff said! :CON:

Except for its lack of consistent (relative) scale with previous movie lines.

and...

its lack of paint aps...

its overuse of non-washed, undetailed gray plastic

its sacrifice of size and complexity for MechTech

its inferior versions of previously made (and well done) toys and characters.

Like you, I am very disappointed. However, I was disappointed with RotF in the beginning, but I loved it once Hasbro started releasing more waves of toys. There may still be hope...

I am more aggravated with this line than any other previously. The paint issues are what perhaps bothers me most.

I like a good number of toys from it, but I can't help but be a little bummed that figures like Roadbuster feel unfinished to me.

A have all of those except for Shadow Ops, because I don't need the repaint. Plus I got my 2007 Prime for $20. I'm very happy with my collection. By the way, that post has officially confirmed that you are a troll, something which I was suspicious of from the very beginning.
