Just looking at a couple of subgroups, like the Dinobots, Insecticons, Constructicons, etc. and thinking "Okay, so these guys form a group, but let's not forget the group has individuals." Then I asked myself a question; Who is my favorite of each subgroup in G1, and who is my favorite overall?
Well, I'm here to list that, and then find out yours. Just out of curiosity. And when I say G1, I'm talking about the ones in the U.S cartoons, not including those of the toylines or the Headmasters cartoon.

Seekers
I've been fiddling back and forth on whether or not to consider the Seekers a subgroup, so I put it in anyway, considering I have my favorite out of them too. Let's review who's in the bunch.

Honestly, my favorite out of all of these would be Thundercracker, just because he's different........that's it, really.
Dinobots
Me PrimeStriker say they Dinobots are superior Autobot subgroup. Me PrimeStriker think I list they Dinobots now:

Me PrimeStriker favorite Swoop out of all of them Dinobots. He Swoop, and he fly! He Swoop awesome!
Constructicons
One of the best Decepticon subgroups/combiners of all time! But for all you newbs out there, the Constructicons consist of:

*Long Haul (Why is Scrapper always listed first. Why can't I be listed first? This is bull!)

*Mixmaster
*Hook
*Scavenger
*And their Gestalt: DEVASTATOR!!!!!!!!!!!111
Mixmaster has got to be my favorite out of those 6. Come on, he's a freakin' CEMENT TRUCK! CEMENT!!!!!
Insecticons
The army builders of 1985! The Insecticons could mass-multiply! Incredible! They consist of:

Oh yeah! My favorite out of those 60k+ is Kickback, Kickback, Kickback, as well as Kickback.
Aerialbots
Oh my god! Flying Autobots! That's never been thought of before! I mean come on, it's pretty obvious that Skyfire can fly, and pretty much everybot in the series defies gravity by being able to take to the skies in robot mode, but come on, they can FLY, and they're AUTOBOTS!
They are:

*Air Raid
*And their Gestalt: Superion
My favorite is Air Raid, probably because I can't pick one out of all.......
Stunticons
Oh my god! Decepticon cars! What the hell?! All the Decepticons are jets & various human devices! There aren't any Decepticons on the ground! Well, except for Blitzwing, and those construction vehicles....what were their names? Uhm.....we should probably either rethink this toy selling gimmick or bring the land vehicles into battle more often.

I really don't have a favorite out of these guys, considering I have no connection with them at all, but I'll choose Scattoershot because he's also in Cybertron and hes cool in Cybertron and he was my last my Cybertron figure and I like talking in incomplete sentances and st00f.

Wow, I think I just went through all the subgroups in the 1980s U.S Transformers cartoon. Or did I miss a few? Oh, god, I don't care, any other subgroups I don't know about and therefore can't have a favorite out of.
Well, my favorite subgroup out of all of them is the Constructicons, and therefore my favorite individual out of all the subgroup 'bots and 'cons is Mixmaster. Mixin' sh-
