Eh, the Trainbots were only in Takara's Headmasters anime' and Masterforce Manga, is it really any loss they're not on this tally? I've only seen Headmasters in terrible quality and Star TV dub(though I will soon have the Shout DVD), but I can't remember them doing anything extraordinary non-combined.

I just think they're better than a lot of the american G1 teams. When you think about it none of the combiners did anything really awesome, except maybe the Constructicons

My favs:

Seekers:
Tie between Starscream (for his personality...really the only seeker who had one that was fleshed out) and Skywarp (purple is my fav color). And lets face it...he had the most badass power of any of them, but he was never "done" right in the series IMHO...he totally should have been portrayed as the Nightcrawler of the 'cons.

Constructicons:

Scavenger.
Again, he had the most fleshed-out personality, the most screen time (and dialogue) of them all...AND he scored the FIRST KILL of the movie.

Combaticons:

Swindle.
He had a cool personality, and one of the few individual Gestalt bots who had several of his own storylines.

Dinobots:
Slag.
Tricerotops is cool. Horns for ramming that also shoot fire + armor plated head shield = win.

Predacons:
Headstrong.
Rhino is cool. Pretty much anything with that much animalistic power (plus: horn!) dominates IMHO.

Don't really have any favs from any of the other groups, sorry.

First off, Brawn was killed by Megatron, handled by Starscream. Scrapper didn't kill anyone. Scavenger killed Prowl, if that's who you're thinking of. Besides, he's not the only one with personality in the cartoon.

1. Long Haul - Complain, Complain, Complain.
2. Scavenger - Nobody gives a crap about him. And yes, I'm talking about his fellow Constructicons.
3. Mixmaster - Mad Scientist, that seems to like saying things 3 times in a row.

A-and that's about it...Bonecrusher and Hook were rather generic. Probably because they actually had mouths and nobody else did.

Slag is a Triceratoops.



Snarl is indeed a Stegasaurus, but has no horns to speak of, only a spiked tail. And he did not shoot fire, but snot lasers and a powerful tail laser(after absorbing solar energy from his body plates).

Also, yes for reasons that have to do with "Slag" being a negative connotation in other countries, the Trike is referred to as "Snarl" in robot heroes and Animated. My interpretation that I wrote on that one....http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=mosaic+first+words#/d1xcpqo

I...do not remember that song from my terrible dub/quality tapes of Masterforce! Does it pop up anywhere in the series proper?

If it does, makes me glad I finally got around to picking up both it and Headasters this week! Gotta watch Headmasters first though.
