I dunno, Beast Era Megatron, Animated Megatron/Soundwave, Tf Prime Megatron/Starscream seem the most evil/villainous to me.

Bumping this thread from the dephts of hell to point out how much I have mixed feelings about Starscream death in the movieverse. Well, he kinda deserves it.

Still, Starscream remain my to favorite villain, both for toys and character.

Deszaras because he beats everybody up, especially leozack. Him and Leozack r like Megs and Screamer. Oh and Liokaiser and my second, overlord as my third because thats the first time anyone almost killed a leader in the g1 series. (Not countin the movie)

Torn between Shockwave and Unicron.

Well... First I'll have to pick my favorite from each series and then narrow it down one by one
G1 - Unicron
BW - Megatron
BM - Tankor/Rhinox
RID - Sky-byte
Armada - Sideways
Energon - Shockblast
Cybertron - Galvatron
TF1 - Barricade
Animated - Shockwave
ROTF - Megatron
Prime - Megatron
DOTM - Sentinel

now to narrow it down, I'll comapre two series and pick the best

G1 and BW... BW
BM and RID... BM
Armada and Energon... Armada
Cybertron and Tf1... Cybertron
Animated and ROTF... Animated
Prime and DOTM... DOTM
ROUND 2
BW and BM... BW
Armada and Cybertron... Armada
Animated and DOTM... DOTM
Round 3...
I'd have to say BW Megatron takes it, with Armada Sideways in second, and DOTM Sentinel in third

I'm gonna try my best to make the distinction between villain and Decepticon here (my fav 'con varies depending on series but is usually a toss up between Octane and Abominus) but favourite actual villain...

Cybertron Starscream is pretty awesome, mostly by virtue of being the only competent Decepticon in the whole series, at one point single handedly beating ALL the Autobots at once (pretty badass). He also actually had a plan, which pretty much everyone else in the Universe seemed to lack at the time.

I'm a fan of Scrash, the invisible villain from Operation: Combination. In fact I've renamed my deluxe class animated Megatron so that he is now Scrash in my collection (I didn't have a Skyquake to use and TA Megs needed something to do since he's a pretty lame Megatron)

but overall best villain has to be Beast Era Megatron. A bunch of people have said it and it's because it's true - he's just a brilliant villain by any standards, not even just Transformers. Seriously, the guy's Darth Vader standard of villainy.

Except with more humour, obviously. There's a scene from Beast Wars series 1 (I forget the episode) where he and Scorponok are just sitting on this platform in the Decepticon base having a chat about stuff - made me laugh so much! And then in the blink of an eye he's back to being a twisted megalomaniacal B*****d.

I originally made the thread before I saw any Beast War cartoon. Defenitely one of the best TF series ever. Too bad Beast Machine is so weak in comparison (still way better than Armad first 30-40 episodes).

BW Megs is defenitely my second favorite vilain ever after G1 and Cybertron's Starscream.

Zarak from the JP Headmasters/Masterforce. Destroys cities and kills humans just to piss of the Autobots. That's just brutal.
