Who needs a classics style 3P release?

Weapon: Sword of Fury
So here's the thing we get a lot of really cool homages to some great characters, and some fun obscure ones as well. But I thought it would be amusing to make a thread where we post who we think needs a proper release. Let me knock a couple of big ones out real quick to start us off!

1.Blitzwing-someone please take care of this for us!
2.Galvatron
3.Tarn
4.Abominus
5.Horrorcons

I'd also like to see a lot more Japanese trilogy characters come about!

Trailbreaker, Hoist and Skids.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

I think my top 3 would be Blitzwing, Trailbreaker, and Dinobots.

I'm king of hoping Igear eventually gets around to doing a Windcharger for their MW line....

Also I don't think I would ever buy it, but I'm surprised a mass release of a nice classics version of Alpha Trion has not been made...

Here's my list. They can be either from Hasbro or the 3rd party .... but I think the 3rd party will get to them first. I'm really mostly interested in Season 1 - the movie

Hoist
Skids

Slag
Sludge
Snarl
Swoop
Grimlock (in a style to match)

Combining Protectobots:
Streetwise
Groove
First Aid
Hot Spot
Blades

Steeljaw
Ramhorn
Blitzwing
Gnaw

Nice to have:
Devcon
Elita One
Alpha Trion

Would be nice to have remade, but have already been done:
Galvatron (ultra or voyager sized)
Shockwave
Wheelie (still Legends sized, but better designed ... think Perfect Effect)

Technobots
Terrorcons
FoC Metroplex (yes, seriously)
Trypticon
Blaster (that USB hub aint' good enough, sorry Takara ;))
Ultra Magnus (the FP addon kit is great, but it's not good enough IMO)
Dreadwing (Dreadwind+Darkwing that actually combine and of course the inevitable Darkwings repaint)
Shockwave (I've pretty much given up on FrenzyRumble coming through with the custom I commissioned over 2 years ago :().
The Ark (not so much a 'who' as a 'what', but a decently sized Ark would be awesome)
Galvatron
Squawkbox (Classics style combining tapes? Yes please :D!)
Slamdance (Again, Classics style combining tapes? More please :D!)

And finally, ANYTHING Beast Wars!!!

Great ideas keep them coming!!!!

-some great mentions...really liked these
1.re-done Ultra Magnus w/IDW style white cab mode and better armor with more articulation.
(good call XYL360!)
2.Overlord w/ Springers face(sick idea mooncake623)

3.HYDRA and BUSTER(dreadwind/darkwing)
4.Deathsaurus
5.Jhiaxus
6.Nova Prime
7.Ginrai cab mode classics style!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(or prime without arm and back kibble)

:-? I would also say if you guys want a scout sized wheelie and are good with a little arts and crafts...the RTS(or whatever series it is) windcharger mold makes a great substitute in my opinion. IDK why the mold was not used for the GDO release of wheelie but oh well.

All right, gonna modify my list a bit. Well, add to it. ;) I'm excluding anything that's gotten either a good HasTak release or a third-party alternative. So no Combaticons, no Ultra Magnus. Also, this is either third-party or HasTak.

1. Trailbreaker
2. Skids
3. Hoist
4. The rest of the G1 combiners. We already have Devastator and Bruticus and we're getting Superion and Menasor. In order for me... Predaking, Computron, Piranaking, Defensor, Abominus and Monstructor.
5. Blitzwing and Sandstorm. A scout-class with a new head does NOT cut it. :-x
6. The rest of the -Masters.
7. The G1 humans. Spike with a drill and laser, Sparkplug with his hat and wrench, Chip with wheelchair and possibly laptop, Karly with car, Marissa Faireborn with laser rifle and armor. All to GI Joe scale would be fine with me.
8. Venom to complete the Insecticons.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

If you're already resigned to pay a larger price anyway (as would be the case if there was a third party release) you could always go with the blue Music Label Soundwave. Especially with the addition of Reprolabels, he has an excellent alt mode, and a spot-on robot mode who stands at aproximately Classics Deluxe height.

Yep, that's what I've got. He stands right next to Hegemon (Megatron) on my shelf and they look great together. That ML Soundwave is pretty much perfection for Classics.

All suggestions so far are bang on but i would REALLY like too see an Abominos. BIG TIME!!

EDIT: not too mention a Venom for my Insecticons. But a real joy for me would be a re-visit of the Monsterbots! seriously....that gets another BIGTIME! from me. I'd like too see how somebody does Repugnus and Grotusque! Very challenging from a design point of view if you ask me.

Its funny, I kind of went through 2 phases with Transformers...the first few seasons of G1. And then the tail end where a lot of the Headmasters toys were stateside even though there was no cartoon to support it.

I remember thinking Apeface was one of the coolest toys they ever made. Each mode looked great!

Doublecross and the giant Scorponock were cool too....
