If you're already resigned to pay a larger price anyway (as would be the case if there was a third party release) you could always go with the blue Music Label Soundwave. Especially with the addition of Reprolabels, he has an excellent alt mode, and a spot-on robot mode who stands at aproximately Classics Deluxe height.

Yep, that's what I've got. He stands right next to Hegemon (Megatron) on my shelf and they look great together. That ML Soundwave is pretty much perfection for Classics.

All suggestions so far are bang on but i would REALLY like too see an Abominos. BIG TIME!!

EDIT: not too mention a Venom for my Insecticons. But a real joy for me would be a re-visit of the Monsterbots! seriously....that gets another BIGTIME! from me. I'd like too see how somebody does Repugnus and Grotusque! Very challenging from a design point of view if you ask me.

Its funny, I kind of went through 2 phases with Transformers...the first few seasons of G1. And then the tail end where a lot of the Headmasters toys were stateside even though there was no cartoon to support it.

I remember thinking Apeface was one of the coolest toys they ever made. Each mode looked great!

Doublecross and the giant Scorponock were cool too....
