Perhaps, but it's a legitimate topic. :) As for me, I certainly can't remember offhand! But it would have been either G2 version G1 Optimus Prime, G2 Jazz, or G2 Sideswipe.

Hey everyone, I'm new here, collector from Savannah, Georgia. Anyways my first transformers toy was pretty much all of the g2 gobots. The ones they carried at the dollar store way back when, but the first one I remember was the color changers deluge.

Deluge is pretty great, mine's a tad beat up now, haha. He got a lot of play and his color-changing parts are all faded.
The Rotor Force is another subline I remember fondly. Which reminds me, I really do need to try to find Voyager Powerdive.

My first transformer was either G1 Ramjet of G1 Warpath. I was too young to remember which I got first.

Indeed, my deluge has long since been lost, but at SavCon this past summer I was able to grab a gobots from that line, could be better, could be worse, but for $4, it's worth the nostalgia.

First for me had to of been Armada Optimus and Armada Hotshot. Got them for my birthday back when Armada was the latest Transformers series.

But the first one I actually bought for myself was WFC Soundwave
I am not a GEEWUNNER...I just really like homeages

G1 Optimus Prime ^_^

I would not accept any others as my first, he HAD to be the one- so I saved up and got him at Walmart. ^_^

G2 Motormouth was my first one too, but i didn't lose the gun at all. Instead he just vanished along with the gun after 3 long years and i never found him or that gun ever again

G1 Smokescreen, shortly after he came out. I was actually disappointed, as I wanted either Bluestreak, Sideswipe, or Jazz, and none of them were on the shelves - so I had to settle for "Almost" Bluestreak as I called him.
