When I seen the toys in the stores I was interested in seeing this "fusion cannon" in battle against the autobots an come to find out he's got some shotgun type weapon the same with starscream an his dual swords come to find out he has some chainsaw type weapon I woulda thought if that was the case he woulda had the same weapon as the toys did oh well..I wish all the toys they nake woulda been in the movie like another jet thundercracker for instance...hope new waves are coming soon seeing the same toys every is pretty boring..

Umm, kinda hard time understanding what you're saying, but the bottom line, it's probably paying better off to produce a fictional-looking weapon that turns from one to another than creating one solid thing weapon, that has no gimmick but being an armament piece.

But that's my opinion, give or take.

I thiiiiiiiiiiink what the OP is asking is why do most of the Transformers toys come with these weapons that don't appear in the movie.

The guys in toy marketing didn't discuss anything with the writers and animators of the film.
