The Machine-Robo design, while rather uninspired, pulled it off quite well. What I consider to be kibble would be extraneous parts hanging out and/or getting in the way and there is none of that there. It's just "bulked up" which was commonplace for transforming toys of that time frame. Even Classics Astrotrain has very little kibble considering he's a triple changer. So yeah, if the designer is lazy then you'll have annoying kibble but if they know what they're doing... well crap! That just takes your odds down to 50/50 at best if Hasbro does it. Better run this one by the Takara boys first and pay more for an Asian release. If the North American team has to follow instructions or reverse engineer it, you aren't going to like the end result. Maybe if you pitch the idea to IDW and get it into one of the comics we MIGHT get a cool looking bus out of the deal.
"That which does not kill me...had better run pretty damn fast!"
