ROTF Prime. Dunno about the 3rd party add-ons, but ROTF Prime is the king of the last, eh, 5 years of mainstream toys.

Pretty much what he said.

I'd also recommend either Buster OP or the Striker version, if you can find them. Buster OP has the convertible gun and tons of chrome goodness, as well as added paint apps and detailing, while the "stealth mode" parts on the Striker version increases his display value a lot.

Rotf Leader class Optimus prime or one of its many, MANY retools.

Rotf Voyager Optimus prime is quite good as well. It's the same design as the leader, but in a bit more manageable size. I still say the Leader is better though.

I'll give my 2 cents. Again.
This time, I give you the 3 best.

First, get the deluxe version that come with the trailer. The vehicle mode is perfect and it display so well as is. Also, the guy is pretty easy and fun to transform.

Secondly, Get HFTD voyager Battle Blades Optimus. He's perfect in every ways, like a miniature leader.

Lastly, if you feel poor, get ROTF Leader OP.
Feel rich? Get eitherBuster Prime (chrome and guns) or Jetwing OP (bitchin' jetpack).
Watch out, transforming the leader mold is a real challenge the first time.

The RotF Leader Prime rocks, though I prefer the DotM version based on the same mold. I like the new chest/abdomen of the bot mode better.

Leader RotF OP is great for look and size, but those swords get in the way and deploy themselves.

Voyager (Battle Blades?) is better for articulation but looks almost the same. He comes with two swords that are less intrusive and two guns that form part of the vehicle mode. They can be combined into one gun.

The Jetwing version doesn't have the sword-arms, to allow the Gatling guns to be pegged underneath the forearms. Those who don't like the swords can choose that version. Or, they can do a little DIY and remove them from the original ROTF leader class OP.

As much as the RotF Leader sounds nice, I would still agree with Kanrabat and Mykltron: get the HftD Voyager version. Less money, nice articulation, pretty much same transformation.

A keeper. :D

The swords are easy to remove. ROTF Leader OP is definitely the best movie OP.

And if you have Jetfire, too, they're great together, either in combined mode or just side-by-side.

My only complaint about ROTF OP is that it takes so long to transform you'll end up leaving it in one form or the other.

I thought he was too overly complicated and way too finicky. However, his combination mode with Jetfire is probably enough to overcome that. He looks great, but not that fun to play with.

If you can swing it, Amazon's Jetwing Prime is incredible. I got mine for $50 when it was on sale at Christmas, but I'd buy it even at $100. You already know how accurate, sophisticated, and articulate the base RotF mold is, but with the jetpack, this makes for an unbelievably big, beautiful display piece. Slap the excellent Reprolabels stickers on and it's near perfection. The abdomen remold looks great and it comes with Buster's gas can gun.

Really, this OP mold is the main reason I can't bring myself to depart with my movie collection.
