Wildlife artist David Bollman of Southpaw Studio recently finished work on Transformers 4: Age of Extinction where he was painting various sets, props, weapons and cars according to Sourcenewspaper.com. He had lots to say about his work on Transformers 4.

Overall I am really thrilled about working with the production crew," Bollman said of his role with the movie. "It was filmed in several locations but Detroit is a major setting for a bigger part of the film.

We built a set downtown, but mainly I did a lot of finish painting," he said. "I painted specific props. And even some of the really cool props and weapons in the movie."

I did Chinese lettering on the cars; hand lettering; vinyl graphics; and of course we made everything look like it's been through the mud," Bollman said. "In specific settings, the areas are dirt and muddy.

There is always something that goes into making things look authentic and real," he said. "The director (Michael Bay) loves to have an explosion, so there's a lot of action in this movie.

Mark Wahlberg is just dynamite," Bollman noted about the star in the movie. "He's going to be a phenomenal asset to the movie.
