Last Saturday I went to Big W and Target and the Leader Optimus Primes seemed to be sold off the shelves. Do you reckon they will restock in the next few days? I'm hoping this Monday or Tuesday.

Since the movie isn't even out yet, there's no doubt that stores'll restock with the bigger more expensive toys for kids to bug their parents for. Plus there's the dark blue "Nightwatch" version coming out later on.
I thought the local Wal-Mart had been cleaned out too, but found a small pile sitting on a island display.

Well I'm in Australia and the movie is already out and I saw it.
What's this "nightwatch" version about? Do you think it will be better than the red and blue?

Well, I'm most certainly wrong about the name, but from what was seen of images at the Tokyo Toy Show, I suspect the new Hasbro Prime is Black on Blue or Blue on Black depending on how you want to look at it. Personally, I like it a lot, but the majority of the fanbase seems less than thrilled with it.
It's listed here in the Seibertron Articles:

And Professor Smooth offered a link from TFW here. It show images of Stealth Attack Prime which I think to be the same critter:

If you're near Browns Plains then check out the Big W there or the K-Mart. They have quite a few.

Maaaan, don't even sweat it homey!
If they're selling out before the film is even out, then I don't think you've got anything to worry about.

Yeah nevermind, I got the Leader today. I guess I was impatient to a fault. These toys are great!; I remember why I loved action figures when I was younger.
Mind you the exclusive Scout Class figures have a lot of play value considering they're so small...
