Hence the words Almost. Then again I still read the comics between 96-2006, so my despise is still there, but I guess I should have kept it to just the cartoons. Sorry... still you can not help but to despise him.
You got:
- The typical bland young guy from G1.
- The mute, irritating dude from the Movies
- The cold-hearted drifter/Seeker Commander from Shattered Glass
- The young, lively, energetic, full-of-life, ball of energy from Animated
- And the "Johnny Young Bosch"-turned-"silent killer" from WFC/Exodus/Prime.
You forgot the Promoted to leader in IDW, and the whiny, trying to prove himself version in Marvel-UK.
However they all share the same (except for SG) basic Bumblebee persona, the same way Prime shares his personas with the other Primes (even primal).
Bumblebee = Humans in transformers.
Every human is different (Spike is not the same as Sam who is not the same as Carlos). Yet they are all equally annoying and droll as a character. With the exception of SG, they are all suppose to be inspiration markers and relational points so that the youths of today have a character they can relate to. Time changes all the characters but not their intended purpose and basic purpose for story development and demographic relational points.
