It sucks that Wreckage, a really cool character with a nice figure, is already destroyed before anything can be done with him.
I was looking forward to seeing him on screen but I guess not.

If you read the second prequel comic on target.com/target DVD exclusive you see him land with the other Decepticons in his protoform and he is shot down by the U.S. army after they invade a base (A different one from the one Blackout attacked in the film). He is shot with some sort of rocket that takes him down pretty easily.

Yeah, but who says that's canon?

I suppose he might be back, maybe he went into "stasis lock" or the military has him captured kinda like they had Megatron. It was just sad to see him knocked off before he got a chance to shine in the film.

i thought Wreckage was on the TFTM game, which technically takes place WITHIN the movie timeline, not the prequel.
all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

There is no wreckage in the game. He dies in the little prequal comic when they attack a military base thinking the allspark might be there.
Um, I know sideswipe, dreadwing, longarm, dropkick and camshaft were all in the movie game. I dont remember payload in it.

I refuse to accept that comic as canon. He's a cool character that SHOULD have been on the big screen. And he still could be in the sequel. He's a great figure, and it is a shame there has been no repaint of him. I've seen some really nice repaints by fans, and he looks great.

payloads in the movie, if you finished the game, and go to cybertron where you're prime, and then you fight 35 drones, payload is the dude that rams you unless you throw something at him or he takes a break from running.

Well in the first prequel comic doesn't bumblebee get his voicebox ripped out by Megatron? If that's true then those prequel comics may very well be a part of the movie timeline.

I'd probably say the prequels are Canon, since is it not licensed by Hasbro?
