I placed an order almost two hours ago and just got a backorder notice.

Glad everyone is able to get him. Looks like I can return the extra one I picked up in case they were in short supply.

That was my intention when I picked it up. So far no-one has inquired plus its cheaper to get it off the site.

I don't know where he heard this, but a collector friend of mine told me that the first wave of TCs was a "test run" from TRU to determine demand. Then supposedly by sometime next month they will be out in greater supply. I would love to hear this from someone else too -to make it easier to believe.

I was expecting the stand for this to be a piece of garbage, but was pleasantly surprised that it actually works well.

They don't do trial runs, they order a run and it's done.
It cost's a ton of money to keep manufacturers on Stand by.
Exclusives are always a one shot, one kill process.
