... Why do you like them?

Today I started thinking about who my favorite are. And when I did, I started wondering: Why do I like 'em so much?

If we skip Optimus and Megatron for obvious, who are your favorite transformers and why?

Japanese HM/MF Scorponok.

He blows up Mars, the freaking planet Cybertron itself, destroys complete cities just to piss off Ginrai and his buddies and damn near kills every Decepticon who helps him.

Dinobot. This says it all.

Rodimus Prime from the Generation one USA cartoon series is my favotite character. because the writters did a great job of creating a 3-D persona. that people could relate to. I also loved the whole massive power rodimus prime had & how strong he was using the matrix of leadership.

Sixshot was my favorite character from the Japanse Takara Headmasters cartoon series. because he was a super cool ninja,he killed ultra magnus. then the character became good & helped the autobots defeat scorponok.

Overlord is my favorite japanese takara masterforce cartoon series character. mainly because he's so powerful. has a unique combination design. has 2 cool persona's controlling him. he was shown strong & powerful & assumed command of the decepticons on earth before black zarak showed up. I did like how overlord's human partners cared about the other human masters under their command.

Deathsauras,for TF Victory. even though he was weaker than star saber in battle. I did like seeing such a cool & ruthless decepticon leader who treated his crew like garbage & use to torture them whenever he felt like it. deathsauras did have his high points like creating that giagntic space ship comet thing that had the potetial to blow up planets from space.

Dinobot,was my favorite beastwars cartoon character. because he reminded me of a klingon version of a transformers. I like how brave & courageous the character was. the writters did a great job fleshing out his 3-D persona & making it evoulve thru out the cartoon series.

I'd have to say Wheeljack because he seems like a complete badass!

Mine would be a tie between Soundwave and Beast Wars Dinobot. Soundwave, because his voice is unique to the rest of them all and he has his own minions. Dinobot because he's just purely a badass

Prowl. Like his MTMTE profile, his Budiansky portrayal and Roche's version. Don't like Furman's whiney version.

Marvel Thunderwing. I liked the idea of a Decepticon with an affinity for the Matrix. Also liked his loyalty for his troops, like his concern for Spinister.

Marvel Scorponok. I like how he had an honourable side.

Animated Rodimus. 5 minutes of airtime and becomes the coolest TF ever.

MTMTE Streetwise.

IDW Swindle.

Marvel UK Soundwave.

Target 2006/Movie Galvatron.

UK Rodimus Prime.

IDW Thundercracker. Always like Honourable Cons.

G1 Toon Starscream.

G1 Toon Ironhide.

G1 Toon Trailbreaker and Hound. They're just nice guys. Not cliched goody two shoes but good lads you'd hit Maccadams with.

Dreamwave Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. Enjoyed their interaction in Dreamwave ongoing. i like how Sunstreaker shows us that not all Autobots are nice guys. Loved his "had to wipe Bumper's tailpipe" line.

DOTM Sentinel Prime.

Furman's Grimlock.

IDW Hardhead.

The Con Medic in Prime.

Movie Bumblebee.

Shockwave.

Marvel/BW Ravage.

BW Inferno.

BW Silverbolt.

BW Megatron.

IDW Magmatron.

IDW Razorbeast.

Thunderblast. TF's Harlequin.

Cybertron Ransack.

Animated Wasp. Truely tragic character. His screams in the chamber always chill me.

Animated Lugnut. Great voice. Love the ridiculous loyal personality.

Animated Starscream.

Animated Prowl.

Animated Bulkhead.

Armada Red Alert.

Armada MTMTE Predacon.

Dreamwave Ramjet. "Bring it on you slaggin' cowards!"

Optimus hands down. But other than him and Megatron: Ironhide,Wheeljack,Ultra Magnus, Omega Supreme, Warpath, Ratchet, Grimlock, Starscream, Soundwave, and Barricade. That's in all continuities by the way.

And with TF:Prime now, I like Bulkhead and Knockout.
