If Target doesn't have him yet,I'm gonna have to check my local comic store or something.

The pyro! Hah!

If you're really looking for these guys, check that random 'collectors' isle at Toys R Us'. I bought both the Pyro and the Demo for my fiancee. We ordered the Pyro and then on a random TRU stop I found her the Demo, and they had some PRyos there as well. Probably a single case worth, I think there were four of each.

As far as the figures go, they're pretty cool, but the Pyro is far and away the better one. It (lol) just looks better and in my opinion, the game character is a much more distinct character than the Demoman. I play Soldier a lot, so the pictures of the eventual Soldier figure chap me a bit becuase he's SO blah looking that it puts me off. More accessories for either/both figures would have been really great, but the Pyro really got stiffed on extra parts.
I'd recommend them though if you're a fan of the game.

How much did you pay for the Demoman at TRU? I've been watching some reviews and since my top two classes are Demo and Pyro I figured (pun not intended) I'd pickup both.

I don't exactly recall, but my brain is kicking up $22.99 for some reason, so that's what I'm going to say. Around $20 for each at any rate.

I just got in my massive (over $2000) POL from BBTS and among the tons of TFs and third party offerings was this gem. One of my favorite movie monsters of all time (besides Godzilla of course ;)):

Image

The detail and paintwork on this beast is absolutely flawless and the sculpting is amazing. He's also heavy as a brick, totally solid. No articulation, but he's just meant to be a display piece anyway, not a toy, so it works.

They even painted in his teeny tiny eyes with red instead of whites, perfectly round microscopic yellow irises and very small black pupils the size of pin heads. All of the paint and sculpted details throughout the scales and hair, teeth and claws, belly and mandibles, and even inside his mouth and tongue are just phenomenal.

Oh yeah, and he looks scary as **** to boot!

Re: That single toy from a line you're not collecting but couldn't resist to get.

You might wanna check out TRU (Toys R Us) or Target. I have no idea about websites but I'm pretty sure a quick google search will give you a couple of websites.

Its impossible to find one of these cheap AND 100% complete, but if I did, It would probably still be too expensive since I'm a poor ass.

That building blocks set that I had so much fun building with that final result that just blow me away.
MEGABLOCK HALO MANTIS!

I planned to just buy it for the pieces because it's over 400 tiny pieces for less than 30$. I never played any Halo games. However, I just love western style mech so I assembled the thing. Man, the joints are perfect. The final mech is solid, stable, and just awesome. The only forgivable faults I see are the feets and the torso base that are just a single blocks, and some stickers cover more than one pieces making them unusable if I ever plan to dissassembling it.

I usually dont give a fawk about minifigs, but that Halo little guy is pretty neat too.

Image
Image

nstead of using the clear studs for the docking bay, I used them to give that mech some decent spotlights. Because I bought the set twice for the parts, I buildt the docking bay twice to make a decent display, with just some slight mods. Also, the second minifig is inside the mech, of course.

I love that display because for me, it's not just a "Halo" display. It can be from any universe where western style mechs are used. Mechwarrior, Steel Battalion, Metal Gear, you name it.

Image

Stay tunes for that transformable Transformers I will make with the rest of the parts!

This Diamond Select Venom is awesome. If you're a fan of the character it's a must own. That Spider-Man is crap though.

Again with the Halo Mega Blocks! This time, I got this sweet 10th Anniversary Warthog for just CAN34$ taxes included! That's the big-ass 734pcs set by the way.

Image

I finally decided to take the plunge and see what I've been missing out all those years. I bought the first Halo game on XBLA. Appart the good but dated graphics, the gameplay is, as expected, solid. I can see lots of elements that other games have lifted from Halo.

This will be fun.

So I finally picked up my TF2 Pyro the other day. He's looking pretty good, but I'm still looking for a Demoman...

Also, Engineer and Spy are going to be the next two classes released apparently. Heard from a friend.

"Put down your weapon; you have 20 seconds to comply..."

Image

Pre-ordered this guy. I've been wanting a version of ED-209 for ages, and the HT ones are just too pricy right now. Then in comes Neca with an affordable version, which is basically a scaled-down version of the HT replica. Comes with quotes from movie, and sound effects. Only this it doesn't include is the damaged gun pod and a remote control for the quotes and sound effects.

But at a fraction of the price, who can complain?

Neat! I do hope for you that it have at least basic articulation... And a Robocop buddy to do battle with.

Thanks!

According to the promo brochure, it has all the articulation the ED is capable of in the movie, including the ability to slide its legs up and down the rails, or whatever they call them.

As for Robocop, I missed out on both versions. Hopefully Neca will re-release another batch to cash in on their ED toy.

LOL! Be that as it may, I think I'll keep my vital organs. From the pics I've seen, it doesn't look all that great, and doesn't even come with a no-helmet face. Definitely not worth scalper prices.

I wonder how the Figma Robocop scales in with the Neca ED, though?
