While I was driving to my calls today I passed a cemetery that reminded me of the one in Return of the Living dead.. Then I started thinking, "what would be the style of zombie I would rather go up against?" And what is the more terrifying of the three zombie styles.

As for style I mean the three mainstream zombie franchises (well the 04 dawn was a stand alone movie... BUT it was a good one at that).

They shamble around slowly (like creeping death)

Can be killed by shot in the head/massive head trama

It is believed that the only way to become a zombie in this continuity is by being exposed to the trioxin compound, be it ingestion (nose, mouth or skin) or reanimated due to water/rain/trioxin chemical itself.

They are somewhat intelligent and can talk
Can be killed by electricity (shorts out the brain)

I think the one I would want to face would be the Romero zombies.. Yeah, he made them slow like the creeping death and they will tear you apart if they got their hands on you, but they are easily taken down by a headshot and can be maneuvered through due to their slow movement.

The most terrifying ones would be the ROTLD ones.. Sure they only eat brains, but the only way to kill them is electricity (seen in the second movie)..

Agreed Romero zombies The Hardest would be rotld where are you gonna find a stray wire, 3rd rail, etc.

ROTLD. Get a stun gun off eBay and you're good to go.

Damn zombies better stay off my lawn. My sunflowers can fuel an entire plant army to kill any zombie from any continuity.

As for me two shotgun's a bottle of jack a pistol and a bus that look's like this and i'll be on my way

I think the Romero style zombies are the scariest despite being the easiest to deal with. The other ones are too natural in their behavior, they run and think like wild animals. The Romero zombies are walking corpses that mindlessly stalk you which is something your instincts are not prepared for.

Any zombie that runs is going to be possibly faster than me at this point. And that scares the bejebus out of me.
