The Minicons Have Arrived!

Time to Powerlink! - The latest advancement to Heavy Metal War is now live. The Minicons have arrived with the introduction of new Minicon section to HMW which can be found here. You can select Minicons based on the abilities you want and even name each one of them. The balance of power can shift at any moment as the Autobots and the Decepticons race to get their hands on the Minicons. Be sure to acquire some Minicons of your own while they last because they won't be this easy to get forever!

HMW Xmas tourney prizes - now available!

What's in Santa's sack? - A little delayed by personal issues, but the prizes from the recent holiday tourney are now active in HMW! Both the Autobots and the Decepticons have gotten some shiny new toys from Santa's sack - check out what you've received here! These new altmodes will be freely available for the next week, and then the new auto-rotation system will come into play. For a view of all 444 altmode icons currently in the HMW database, check out the icon index. Get 'em while you can, because once they're gone there's no telling when they'll next be available!

Well, the holiday season is on us again and here at the Heavy Metal War we thought we'd run a light-hearted little tournament over the festive period to celebrate! Check out your faction bulletins on the HMW main page for the full details of what's going on, but suffice to say that Shockwaves Decepticons are en route to the North Pole to cause havoc for a certain jolly fat man...
