Posted October 12th, 2009 at 6:02am by Mkall

As most of you know, Moggy has decided he wants something a bit more colourful than the 1982 ZX-Spectrum graphics we have currently, so we've decided to up the ante on the altmodes making them larger and more detailed (this 2009 after all!) Whats more, we've also decided to add robot modes, weapons and armourinto the mix as well. So, to put it simply: If there is an alt, robot mode, weapon or eve a piece of armour you want in the game, please make an icon for it using the instructions below - Read More

Posted October 02nd, 2009 at 3:43am by Dead Metal

Yes Seibertron.com's site game Heavy Metal War (HMW) is prepping for the conversion to 2.0! Question: Now of what concern would that be for an artist? Answer: The game needs a map! So instead of Transtopia's monthly art challenge for October, I present you with the Transtopia "Give HMW a map of Cybertron" art - Read More

Hey guys, OS has made some alterations to the Heavy Metal War missions! As well as modifying the mission brackets to account for our new level 4's over the next few days, we've tweaked a few of the mission genration rules in the hope that they work a bit better for you all from now on. 1) ALL Predacon and Maximal mission weightings have set to the lowest amount so they should now ONLY triggered by a Max/Pred being active. 2) Likewise, Bot v Con and Pred v Max mission weightings have - Read More

Database server is having problems ... should be resolved within 72 hours

Posted February 23rd, 2007 at 5:16pm by Seibertron

Sorry for the delay in relaying this information to you guys. The site is currently running off a backup server right now. HMW will be down for the next 72 hours until this problem is resolved. Apparently the database server had a bad scuzzy drive which has been causing the problems with the bad database tables, according to ThePlanet (the company which hosts Seibertron.com's servers). This would explain why I wasn't able to create proper backups of the Forums, Demiurgic City and Heavy Metal - Read More

[HMW] Happy Christmas / New Year!

Posted January 01st, 2007 at 2:45pm by Glyph

Since I believe I've finally got all the Energon problems sorted out, I figured it's time to give out some slightly-belated presents! Everyone just received 20 times their characters' worth in XP and Energon, if I got my sums right. Enjoy! Also, since I finally sorted out the issue with auto-CR payments and negative Energon, I've cancelled the debts of everyone who'd gone into the red and given enough credit for everyone to be on at least €5,000. I'd like to take this opportunity to - Read More
