About Lords of Polyhex

The Lords of Polyhex's story all began four million years ago when Megatron left Cybertron in pursuit of Optimus and energon. While Shockwave had been left as guardian of Megatron's strongholds on Cybertron that didnt prevent various petty warlords and tyrants rising up to carve up the various regions of Cybertron in his absence. One of these warlords was the self pronounced Lord Straxus who took hold of the industrial Polyhex region, where the energy rich smelting pools were located where various materials could me melted down and reclycled into new robots or materiel. Ruling on high from the seat of his power, Fortress Darkmount, Straxus was particulary viscious in his dictatorship, often slicing up prisoners with his vibro axe and then having them thrown into the smelting pools while still online so they could die a slow lingering death.
However like all tyrants Lord Straxus' reign came to an end after Darkmount received a communique from the long missing Megatron. Straxus then ordered to have an Autobot scientist proficient in subspace mechanics, Spanner, kidnapped and made to build a vast subspace travel network in order to restore contact with Megatron. Unfortunately for Straxus, Spanner was an associate of the Autobot Blaster, who took his kidnapping a bit personally (as well as the death of his friend Scrounge at the order of Lord Straxus) so at the same time when the Decepticons finally managed to make Spanner's space bridge work, Blaster led an Autobot contingent in battle against Straxus' forces.
