Don Figueroa, main artist on Dreamwaves Transformers G1 and forthcoming Beast Wars comic, has stopped by the 2005 borads to post HIS take on G1 scaling.
ok, MY scaling system goes like this:
-Minibots are two heads taller than Cassette bots which in turn is a head taller than a normal human
-Deluxe cars and Insecticons are a head or so taller than Minibots (obviously) but some are taller than most, like Inferno.. so they vary from a head above the minis to a few
-Prime and Megs are about three heads taller than Jazz, about a head taller than Inferno, Grapple, Soundwave..etc Gestalt leaders are also about a head smaller than Prime
-Seekers are also a head smaller than Prime/Megs, Smaller gestalt members are about deluxe car height
-Magnus is about a head taller than Prime when in Armor, Jetfire maybe a couple of heads taller
-Dinobots vary from a head taller than Prime (Swoop) to maybe 3 heads taller for the biggest (Sludge)
-combined Gestalts are 2x bigger than Sludge
-Sixshot is slightly taller than Sludge, but not as bulky
-Omega Supreme and Sky lynx are 50% bigger than a gestalt. to me, Devastator should be slightly bigger than most combiners since there are Six of them, then height wise, it goes Predaking then Superion, Bruticus, Menasor and Defensor
-Metroplex is about 5x the size of Omega Supreme, Trypticon will be slightly bigger
-Fortress Max and Scorponok WILL be bigger than Metro, though I'm not sure just how big yet

features Wayne Gretzky in both Oilers and Kings uniforms - also included
are Frank Mahovlich, Gerry Cheevers and Yvan Cournoyer. NFL 10 features 8
normal figures and a variety of chase pieces and away jersey figures.
Most common figures are $9.99 to $10.99 and the chase figures vary in
price. NFL 10 includes Terrell Owens, Ricky Williams, Randy Moss, and
many other big names.
SIDESHOW-WETA / MORPHEOUS: The Mouth of Sauron Bust, which is limited to
4000 pieces has just arrived and we have limited stock left after filling
our pre-orders. Sideshow has offered us a package deal of LotR King
Elessar Statues with the purchase of the spendy Giger Spell 1 piece.
Spell 1 is limited to only 666 pieces and has a MSRP of $750! We've made
a purchase of both pieces and are splitting apart the set as a short term
pre-order. King Elessar is available for pre-ordering for $249.99 and
Spell 1 is available for just $389.99! which is $360 off the suggested

TRANSFORMER PRE-ORDERS: The new E-Hobby repaint has just been put up for
pre-order - Blitzwing has been repainted with a dark gray color scheme and

announced the new Cyclonus Bust - pre-orders available for $44.99 and be
sure not to miss out on our exclusive Metallic Bumblebee Statue from Hard
Hero.
ROBOTMASTERS & BT ARRIVING SOON: Our distributors in Japan have informed
us that the Robotmaster RM-15, RM-16, and RM-17 will be arriving in early
December. Pre-Orders are still available for Star Saber, Victory Leo, and
the Victory Saber RM-17 Giftset. The Bt-06B and BT-09 Binaltech figures
will be arriving later this week - pre-orders will be processed very
shortly on the BT's and later November on the Robotmasters.
SUPER CLEARANCE ITEMS: Thanks to all of you who have purchased items on
our Super Clearance menu! Our inventory levels are moving towards a more

Hot on the heels of Energon Insecticon's first sighting earlier this week, another figure previously unseen in the UK, Arcee, has been spotted by our own Yeti in the Hull branch of Toys'R'Us! Better yet, he also spotted Landmine in the same store! Time to get hunting, my fellow Transformer-starved UK'ers!

Hi - Here is a quick update from http://www.bigbadtoystore.com about some

TAKARA TRANSFORMERS:
--BINALTECH: BT-08 Mazda RX-8 Meister (Jazz) has just arrived! We have
listed Meister for $54.99 - available in either red or white versions.
The set of red and white versions is also available for $107.99 for both
figures. This figure has a nice amount of die-cast metal parts (roof,
doors, hood, rear panels) and the head definately captures the look of
Jazz.
--RE-ISSUES: The #16 Insecticon Re-Issue set is now in stock for $39.99
and features more nice Dreamwave artwork on the cover and interior. The
box itself has lime green highlights that give it a much brighter look
than most of the other re-issue sets. Bombshell, Kickback, and Shrapnel
each come with their original chrome G1 weapons and 3 small energon cubes
were added to the set for a nice effect. The repaint exclusive
Insecticon sets arrive to us later this week and are available for $54.99
--SUPERLINK: Headlining the new arrivals is the awesome SC-26 Superion
Gift Set - The box is surprising large (about 15" x 12" x 4") and figures
are packaged in a nice window display box in both robot and vehicle mode.
It will be at least several months for all 5 of the figures to be released
domestically by Hasbro and this is probably the only way to get them
together in a more collectable Gift-Set version. Other Superlink
arrivals include: SC-22 Omega Superme, SC-23 Hotshot Fire, SC-24
Roadbuster Wild, SC-25 Skyfire Sonic.
--ROBOTMASTERS: RM-13 Smokesniper & RM-14 Gigant Bomb are the latest
releases from the popular Robotmasters line. These two figures are
similar to the Starscream & BB Set from Japanese Beast Wars and several
other incarnations of this same mold dating back to G2. They are priced
at $19.99 and $33.99 respectively and the RM-14 is by far the largest
Robotmasters figure released so far. We have all the other Robotmasters
in stock from #01 to #12 as well.
MICROMAN: Takara brings us more cool Microman figures including:
Catwoman, Batman & Batgirl 2-pack, Devilman and Silene 2-Pack. Catwoman
comes with a whip, alternate head, extra feet, and a variety of extra
hands. Batman & Batgirl come with a variety of typical bat-gear and many
extra sets of hands. The Devilman & Silene set and several other Microman
items are in stock on the main Microman menu.
SOUL OF CHOGOKIN / S.I.C.: Bandai's GX-24 Tetsujin 28 is the latest
Chogokin to be released, we have it listed at $71.99 and its another
quality release from Bandai. The GX-10 Boss Borot and GX-15 Eva have been
restocked at $54.99 and $59.99 respectively. We've received a S.I.C.
(Super Imaginative Chogokin) figure - the #25 Alternative Zero & Masked
Rider Ryuga is available for $54.99
BANDAI JAPAN GUNDAM FIGURES: Zeonography #3004a Pezun Dowadge and #3004b
Rick Dom figures have just arrived. More superior detail and
armaments/accessories from Bandai. These figures are priced at $39.99
each. The older 1/144 ZGundam boxed figure has arrived and is available
for $49.99
SIDESHOW-WETA LORD OF THE RINGS: A few more LotR items have been
restocked including: Arwen Statue - $104.99, Uruk-Hai Berserker Statue -
$109.99, Escape Off the Road Plaque - $134.99, Grishnakh and Uruk-Hai
Swordsman Busts are back in stock and we still have a few Morgul Lords

NECA: HELLRAISER & KILL BILL: The Kill Bill figures are very nicely done

be here in 4 - 8 days, we sold out of them almost instantly last time so
here is an opportunity to reserve a set in advance.
TRANSFORMERS: A variety of previously sold out items have been restocked:
#00 prime, #01 Jazz, #03 Skids, #07 Sideswipe, #10 Soundwave, #11
Astrotrain, Hasbro Ultra Magnus re-issue, and Heroes of Cybertron Wave 4
sets of 6 (which is at the bottom of the main TF menu). The pricing on
these is a bit above our standard pricing because supplies in Japan are
very low and we've had to buy from secondary sources, but they are still
reasonable and I'm not sure how many more times we'll be able to restock
some of them.
TAKARA INSECTICON CLONES: These have just shipped to us from Japan and
will be arriving this week - which is surprising fast after the normal
Insecticon re-issues (also arriving this week) The Insecticon clone army
figures are available for $54.99 per set, or 4 sets for $194.99.
SOUL OF CHOGOKIN: We've restocked the Combattler V and Gaiking repaint in
limited numbers. The GX-24 Tetsujin 28 and GX-08 Mazinger Angel Aphrodite
will be arriving to us in about 5 - 10 days. Pre-Orders are available on
each. The Max Factory Genesic Gao Gai Gar figure has been released
domestically by Diamond comics - the domestic price is $169.99 and we have
some of those in stock on the S.O.C. menu.

-Bandai 1/850 Star Trek Voyager model kit - $81.99 - a fantastic looking

NEW ENERGON FIGURES ARRIVING SOON: We have set up a short term pre-order for some new and popular older Energon figures including mega sized: Cliffjumper, Shockblast, the new Hound and Dreadwing figures and also a set of 5 new Deluxe figures including: Slugslinger, Sharkticon, Tow-Line, Energon Hot Shot and Downshift. These will all be arriving to us in about 10 days and pre-orders will be processed at the time orders are placed and
shipped out in about 10 days.
INCOMING TAKARA TRANSFORMERS: All these great items will be arriving to us in roughly 12 - 14 days and we'll be processing pre-orders shortly so everything is ready to begin shipping once they arrive:
--BINALTECH BT-08 MEISTER - Sets of Red and White Mazda RX-8 figures are available for $107.99 and single figures for $54.99.
--#16 INSECTICONS - Kickback, Shrapnel & Bombshell are available for $39.99 per set and come packaged in the Dreamwave collector box.
--SMALLEST TRANSFORMERS - The CVS 'Wave 2.5' set is finally going to arrive and includes the new Hot Rod figure along with favorites from wave 1 and 2.
--SUPERLINK - A variety of new Superlink figures will be arriving
including the awesome SC-26 Superion combiner set and probably also the SD-21 Bruticus set. (we are waiting for final confirmation on the SD-21.)
We have pre-orders available for all of the items above and I encourage you to put in a pre-order if you have not already for these great releases.
OTHER PRE-ORDERS ARRIVING SOON:
MICROMAN: The Catwoman and Batman & Batgirl microman sets will be arriving in early October. We have listed photos of all these figures and they are very impressive.
STREET FIGHTER: Sota Toys has confirmed Street Fighter series 1 will be shipping out to us in early October. There will be a few paint variants in this wave so if you order 2 sets we will send you a full case worth of figures including one of each of the normal paint variants.
STIKFAS: Stikfas Lite sets are on the way to us now - both the Ninja and Baseball player figures are still available for pre-order and will be arriving next week.

Takara have updated their Transformers website today with some previews of figures due to be released this month.
The Superlink section has been updated with new profiles for Omega Supreme, Roadbuster W and Skyfire S. There's also a nice little flash movie focusing on the Omega Supreme/Grand Convoy combination.
The Insecticons are previewed in the G1 section this month, picturing the figures in both insect and robot modes.
Meister is the focus of the Binal Tech section, with pictures of both the whiet and red versions of this long awaited figure.
