ABOUT OUR JUDGES

Hot Topic:It all started in 1988. A ton of teen retail accessory stores filled the malls, but there wasn't a cool music-inspired accessory store for both guys and girls. Then came Hot Topic. As 1990 rolled around, adding apparel seemed like a no-brainer. What better way than to add the ultimate music fan essential - band tees. Imagine how our customers flipped when they were able to get Bauhaus, The Cure, TSOL, and Depeche Mode T-shirts at Hot Topic. Within a year, we had about 50 different band titles, along with rock-inspired clothing lines like Lip Service and Serious. As we expanded, we discovered that customers were equally drawn to the underground cartoon, cult movie, and comic book scenes. It was a unique culture fans could call their own, so we brought the world of South Park, Care Bears, Superman, SpongeBob and tons of other pop icons into our Hot Topic stores.

Seibertron.com: Seibertron.com is the Ultimate Transformers fansite, running since 2001! From an idea by founder and current owner Ryan, the site functions as news resource on all things Transformers, from toys to comics, to merchandise, to movies via cartoons and fan-created features. It is also one of the biggest online communities for fans of the Transformers franchise, spanning across ages, interests, countries and time zones, with over 400,000 unique visitors per month! Seibertron.com is home to the world's largest collection of Transformers toys galleries from the very first iterations in the 80s all the way up to the newest releases. Seibertron.com - Welcome to Your Planet.

Allspark.com: Since 1999, The Allspark has been among the oldest active online Transformers fansites. In the past decade and a half it has been a community hub and go-to site for news and discussion for all eras of Transformers toys, tv, games and comics. Over the last few years fan interests in the site have expanded to other properties ranging from super heroes to My Little Pony and all things sci-fi and geeky. You can find us on the web at http://www.allspark.com

DOs & DON'Ts

1. Don't: Use Transformer or Hasbro logos. When creating your design imagine its part of the Transformers world.

2. Do: Use Decepticon/Autobot logos and any other logs that can be found in the shows!

3. Don't: Submit similar versions of the same design. Sometimes people submit the same design, but with small changes. This will only divide your votes and hurt your chances of winning.

4. Do: Make something original. Research to make sure your idea isn't already out there.

5. Don't use any copyrighted or inappropriate materials.

6. Do: Send art prints! We are now accepting art print submissions, not just tees!

FAQ - To see our full set of Contest FAQ, please click here.

Q: The submission kit is not downloading. I need help!
A: Please email contest@mightyfineinc.com. We should be able to send you one directly.

Q: How many designs can I submit?
A: You may submit up to 5 entries per person

Q: What file format do you accept?
A: All entries must be in one of the following file formats: GIF/PNG/JPG

Q: Is it ok for me to promote my designs to people I know to come and help rate my designs?
A: We encourage every artist submitting to the contest to promote themselves and their designs to friends, family and followers. Through our experience we have found that more ratings help determine what the fans really want as your winners! So please promote yourselves!

Q: It’s been more than 2 business days and I don't see my design on the site. What’s going on with my design?
A: We review every submission we get before they are made live for viewing and rating. We sometimes reject designs for obvious reasons. If you’ve done any of the following don’t even bother asking why your design was rejected.

- Your design has inappropriate materials.
- Your design uses other copy righted material. This means you are using other people’s intellectual property in your design you do not have the right to. NO MASH UPS!!!
- It’s not a design. A direct photograph or a scribble you just drew on a piece of paper is not considered a shirt design.

Q: I see people cheating. What should I do?
A: Please email contest[at]migthyfineinc[dot]com detailing what you are suspecting. More details you can give the better we can make our decision.

Here's something a little different for movie-goers, car enthusiasts and those of you planning on making the trip to Age of Extinction in style: Volo Auto Museum is putting up for grabs a chance to drive to the '77 Camaro from the 2007 movie to the film premiere in McHenry, IL, as well as entry to the show and a meal for two! Read on below for more information, and head to museum's site to find out how to enter.

Transformers News: Volo Auto Museum Transformers Sweepstakes - Age of Extinction Competition

VOLO — Imagine watching the new “Transformers” movie from a Transformer.

One lucky Volo Auto Museum visitor will do just that.

The winner of a sweepstakes ongoing now will drive Bumblebee, the beloved Camaro that Shia LaBeouf’s character, Sam Witwicky, bought in the original 2007 film. The ride will begin at the museum, 27582 Volo Village Road, and travel to the McHenry Outdoor Theater at Chapel Hill and Lincoln roads on the opening night of “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” anticipated to be June 27.

The winner and a date not only will get to drive and ride in the highly recognizable yellow and black ’77 Camaro, but also will be provided with free admission to the show as well as dinner from the concession stand.

“Normally our Star Cars are behind the museum ropes, untouchable,” said Brian Grams, museum director. “This is an exceptionally rare and exciting opportunity.”

Each museum admission wristband purchased between now and June 12 is a potential sweepstakes entry. Enter the number printed on the admission wristband at www.volocars.com/transformers-sweepstakes.htm. The winner must be 18 and hold a valid driver’s license. The winning entry will be announced June 13.

“I’m excited about this. This is cool,” said Scott Dehn, owner of the McHenry Outdoor. “Brian approached me with the idea and I said ‘Let’s do it!’”

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” is the fourth installment in the series that begins with an adolescent Sam Witwicky discovering that his first car, a somewhat bedraggled Camaro, is, in fact, a Transformer named Bumblebee.

“Some people have nicknamed it the Beater Bee,” Grams said of Volo’s screen-used car. “It’s definitely one that people recognize … it has character.”

Showing up at “Transformers: Age of Extinction” in the car that started it all should make for an exceptionally memorable movie-viewing experience, he added.

“The winners will be in the spotlight,” Grams said. “I hope they like attention.”

Volo Auto Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and features roughly 300 classic, antique, muscle and Hollywood cars — all indoors. For information, visit www.volocars.com or call 815-385-3644.

"IT ALL ENDS TODAY, PRIME!" is something you might hear from Megatron, the feared and loathed Decepticon leader, but not today. Today, he's taking over for Prime, yet again, and giving us yet another review. This time? A review of... himself. Beast Hunters Sharkticon Megatron, in fact! It all ends Tuesday, actually, but you still have time, so make sure you comment on YouTube, here and share on social media for more chances to win an Ultimate Class Predaking or Optimus Prime!
