DragonX76 of Transfandom reports that reliable overseas sources have given tentative release dates for the Japanese versions of Alternator Smokescreen and 20th Anniversary Masterpiece Convoy. Smokescreen will be in stores on September 26th at ¥ 4,980 (around $40 in America). Keep in mind this is the die cast Japanese version. The American version will be $20, but there is no word on its release date. Convoy will come out December 11th for ¥ 8,980, which is about the same as his $75 American price tag, indicating that we should be getting the same exact quality figure when he comes out here.

Have you been holding off on the Hasbro reissues because of their cosmetic changes? Changes such as the lack of chrome or the shortening of missles? Well, at OTFCC Seibertron.com staff members had the opportunity to check out these upcoming reissues. The chrome is back, and the only possible changes made would be the removal of the spring loaded missle launchers. On display, these figures will display just the same as expensive originals. This definately seems to be the series you purists have been demanding. And, if their high cost is a problem, check out this awesome deal at Action-HQ.com exclusively for Seibertron.com readers!
