I never thought the Transformers franchise would get so big again that I´d be doing a Walgreens report. Nevertheless, here it is: the first wave
Heroes Of Cybertron figures are now available here in Chicago. Tired of hearing this rumor and you won´t believe it until you see proof?
How about a receipt? Make sure you look throughout the store ... the Heroes Of Cybertron were at the end of an aisle with other new figures including MOTU and Dragonball Z, separate from the toy aisle. In addition to this finding, knock-off
Constructicons are also available at Walgreens. These figures are called the "Construction Team". Also from the box: "6 in 1 figures ... combine all 6 to form one giant robot!" The knock-off
Constructicons are $2.99 each at your local Walgreens.

A reprint of the EXTREMELY RARE japanese Transformers comics (including Zone and Battlestars) will be released in Japan on October 18th. The price is said to be about 23 dollars (US). Of course, the book is going to be printed in Japanese, but the art makes this a worthwhile addition to your Transformer comics collection.

This is already obvious to those of you who´ve already bought (and read) issue 5. In a surprising ´we´re sorry´ letter, Dreamwave´s staff´s says that they should still have their books out on schedule. Meaning that we´ll have 2 books out in September. This, of course, means that Transformers G1 #6 should be in stores by the end of the month!
I hope you are all as excited about the conclusion of the series as I am!
Thanks for reading!

Joel of
BigBadToyStore has sent out another update and has listed the Transformers "MyClone" figures up for pre-order. In the newsletter he had this to say
"Act 8 was the last act of the
PVC figures and this may be the series that replaces them. The ´MyClone´
series figures include: Prime, Prime in truck mode, Megatron, Arcee,
Starscream, & Ultra Magnus. 12 figures per set and 2 or 3 ´chase´ figures
as well. (No info on the rarity of the chase figures or who they are yet)
Pre-Order available for $49.99." Looks like Takara is trying to start another collector craze. You can pre-order them
here.
