Just a friendly reminder out there to all Transfans that new episodes of Transformers Animated will be shown this weekend. However, which one you will be seeing depends on where you live.
If you live in the United States, you will be seeing "Where Is Thy Sting" @ 8am. If, however, you live in Canada, you will be seeing "Three's A Crowd" @ 11am.

Forced to show his hand after
Amazon.com updated their covers, Jim Sorenson has posted a full sized version of the Allspark Almanac cover on his blog
Disciples of Boltax.
The Allspark Almanac continues in the tradition of Jim's two earlier Addendum's:
The Ark, and
The Ark Volume II, which comprised of character models and animation sheets from both the US and Japanese based Generation 1 cartoons.
The Allspark Almanac is slightly larger than the two Ark books, clocking in at 212 pages, rather than 208. The Allspark Almanac is set for release in August 2009.
An excerpt of the cover, drawn by Marcelo Matere (

Disciples of Boltax- Jim Sorenson, who has been sharing excellent pieces of Generation 1 history, has once again updated his site, this time with the transformation sequence of Masterforce star Ginrai, who bears a striking resemblance to Convoy/Optimus Prime, but with added features!
Mr. Sorenson is the man behind the popular 'Ark Compendium' and 'Ark Compendium Part 2' collections. These books are a collection of Generation 1 Animation models.
"I remain perpetually impressed with how cool most of these sequences are. Even just the establishing shot of him in truck mode, barreling along, is full of action and life."
You can view the image, and Jim Sorenson's thoughts, and other Addendums to the Ark books
here at his
'The Disciples of Boltax' blog.
Thanks for sharing Jim!

Tranformers Animated guru Derrick Wyatt has updated his blog
A Delightful Tedium with an image of what appears to be tribute work for the "cousin" of
Omega Supreme.
In the comments section of the blog, Mr. Wyatt noted that the small head given to Spreem is to help give you an idea of the scale of the character and noted that he put more detail into him than the original design used for seasons 1 & 2.
