A while back, Seibertron.com
reported that new Transformers webisodes may be in works. Now it appears that they will become a reality.
According to a report by
Pitchfork Media, the lead singer of the group
Subtle will be doing the music for them.
Through his father, a longtime employee of Hasbro, Drucker has partnered with the toymakers to work up some music for Flash-animated webisodes of "Transformers" and "Action Man". Those will debut through the fall and winter, with more to follow in due time.
Keep checking back here for more information on the release of these webisodes.

Comic Book Resources got a chance to sit down and talk to Stephanie Marshall of developer A2M and John Sweeney, Associate Producer for Activision, and got the scoop on what we can expect from Transformers Animated the video game for the Nintendo DS.
What is the main storyline of the game, and how does it tie into the "Transformers: Animated" series?
John Sweeney: The game ties directly into the "Transformers: Animated" series and takes place along the same timeline as Seasons 1 and 2. In the game, Megatron has taken over Sumdac factory in order to build an army of robots to invade Cybertron. In order to get to Cybertron, he has also been building a Space Bridge and is attempting to gather up the All Spark fragments in order to power it up. It's up to the Autobots to stop him.
The interview goes on to discuss the game play and usual questions like transforming capabilities and characters available for play.

c21media.net- While many a member of the
Transformers Animated cartoon creative community have basically told us that
season 3 is a go, they could never officially state that it will happen, and when it will start.
Well, while there is no press release or any official announcement,
C21media.net has an article on their website stating that
Entertainment Rights (ER) has secured the rights to distribute the next 13 episodes starting in Spring 2009.
Kids media group Entertainment Rights (ER) has secured distribution rights to the latest 13 episodes of Transformers Animated, bringing the total number available to 42.

In todays rough economic times, its comforting to see that even political cartoonists can find refuge in the Transformers genre. In what seems to be based of of Matt Moylan's own
Lil' Formers, Sinfest.net has found a way to incorporate transforming robots and the current financial recession the countries in and find a happy (or not so happy) median.

Lead designer for Transformers Animated Derrick Wyatt, has updated his blog
A Delightful Tedium with even more Design Sketches from his Animated notebook.
This time the chins have taken center stage, with Derrick promising:
Fear not Transfandom, I have heard your desperate pleas! I know the recent batch of leaked designs have all had shockingly, Earth and Cybertron shatteringly minuscule chins. But please do not despair! As we speak, I am working 'round the clock to develop new bigger, bolder, more powerful chins.
These new chins will be so bizarre and enormous they could actually impede the transformation process. Chins so massive, they have to be seen to be believed.
These new chins could even be so unstoppably huge and heroic, they may have even the simplest of Cybertronians bellowing out the names of common Earthen table utensils.
