Thanks to Hobby Link Japan we have a few new little statues for you to check out. HobbyLink Japan has placed these orders up for a pair of small Metacolle Transformers, which are die-cast statues standing about 78 millimeters tall. The 2 figures they are offering are Age of Extinction Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, both cast in die-cast and given a few posable joints. You can check out the orders by following the link above, and you can check out images of the little statues below. They are currently selling for ¥800 (about $7.86 US).
We have some images of another Prime 1 Studio project, in the form of live-action bounty hunter Lockdown, in his Age of Extinction appearance. The figure is in fact a bust, and not a full statue, and offered in collaboration with Sideshow at $259.99 with only 500 produced. Check it out below!
“Every galaxy I’ve traveled, all you species are the same. You all think you’re the center of the universe. You have no idea.”
Sideshow and Prime 1 Studio are proud to present the latest release in the Premium Bust Collection - Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction. Like any bounty hunter, Lockdown will pay top dollar to get what he wants. Answering only to his enigmatic "Creators", Lockdown holds himself above the Autobot/Decepticon war and sees both sides as squabbling children that he has to rein in personally. He doesn't think much of other civilized species across the galaxy (particularly humans), though he isn't above working with them if it suits him.

If you're a UK or Ireland based Transformers fan, and nice looking, shelf-weighing comics collections are your thing, Hachette Partworks's latest offering may be your new jam: the company has set up an officially licensed hardcover complete collection of Generation 1 stories, in reading order, which covers the entirety of Marvel US and UK, plus the Dreamwave era and the current IDW universe.
The set of planned fortnightly 60 issues, which works as a subscription service - and the fun part here is that you receive the books out of order for sake of variety, but the spine art lines up chronologically - includes a number of new exclusive bonus content to include Character profiles, Creator profiles and introductions from the likes of Simon Furman, Andrew Wildman, James Roberts, Bob Budiansky, IDW's Chris Ryall, Don Figueroa sketchbooks, fully remastered, recoloured artwork from the original books, and - if that is not enough - 5 Free subscription Gifts and 1 free issue if subscription is started with issues 1, 2, 3, or 4. Check out below for a sample of what you will be getting, here for their FAQ section and remember, currently only available in UK and ROI, for £1.99 the first book, £6.99 the second, and £9.99 from there onwards!
While the products are not officially licensed, the team at RIPT Apparel have been nice enough to let some of us on staff contribute to one of the currently available Transformers t-shirt designs (for the next 24 hours only) - and several Seibertronians have sent us notifications about them, so here's a news post: check out the two musical riffs, and a movie spoof below!
Seibertronians, today seems to be a day of random, unexpected Masterpiece rumors, and this seems to be no exception. Seibertronian Mindmaster has sent us what could possibly be an upcoming redeco of MP-10 Optimus Prime in his color scheme from the Shattered Glass continuity. The following image, revealed in a Facebook post from Planet Iacon (or Singapore Transformers Fans Unite!!), shows a scan from what appears to be an undisclosed Hasbro booklet detailing future releases, featuring the Alternate Universe Autobot.
Adding fuel to this rumor fire is another Facebook post, this time from Transformers Asia, saying that something is
"Coming this December
More information will follow soon"
This message is accompanied with a picture of the word "Shattered" over broken glass. Hmmmm...
Check out the image below!
So what do you think? Is it legit? Is it a very convincing digibash? Are you excited to see Shattered Glass make an entrance into the Masterpiece line? Both of these rumors are coming from Asian sources, but it's rumored to be a Hasbro product. Do you think it will ever see a U.S. release? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
And, as always, keep your optics and audio sensors tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest and greatest Transformers news on the net!
Seibertronians, we've got a cool little piece today, thanks to user Cyberpath. Hasbro Transformers designer Emiliano Santalucia has recently shared some new toy concept art via his Facebook page. These are the early incarnations of the Titan's Return Voyager Galvatron and Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime. Check the rough drafts out down below, and then take a look at the finished products by swinging by Seibertron's galleries of the two figures. (We've included a couple down below already, just for comparison.)
So what do you think of these new concept drawings? Do you think they look better or worse than what we got? What elements of the designs do you think Hasbro should have included that they didn't? What would you have left out? Tell us in the Comments!
Via TAG Hobby, we have a scan of a promotional page from Takara Tomy A.R.T.S. about a new Transformers line of non-transforming mini-figures, not dissimilar from the Hasbro Tiny Titans line - BitFig. The first wave, as seen in the image, will featured (Optimus Prime) Convoy, Megatron, Starscream, and Jazz, all about 40 mm tall and with more to come. Check them out below!
Prime 1 Studio has been up to a lot of statues recently, and they are ready to tease another one for us. They decided that, in honor of him showing up once again in Transformers: The Last Knight, that Barricade will be the next statue to be teased! With Prime 1 having nailed all previous attempts at movie accuracy, we are sure to be in for a treat with this upcoming statue. Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
The folks over at Imaginarium art, who are creating officially licensed Transformers statues of Soundwave and Ultra Magnus (and Rodimus), have popped by with an update in both video and image form for the latter! You can check them all out below for a nice look at the details on the Autobot City Commander, including the changeable pose, and let us know what you think in the Energon Pub.
We saw the unpainted version of the officially licensed Imaginarium Art Soundwave statue, over at CybertronCon, and we now also have a very good look at it with some lovely paint coats applied. Check it all out below, in both video and images, which also show how you can swap out some parts for two different poses!
