An article on Peter Cullen, the voice actor best known as the voice of Optimus Prime from the original cartoon as well as the Michael Bay Transformers Movies, has been featured on the site of The Reading Eagle.

Although the article is basically an account with the actor that brings to attention details that most hardcore Transformers fans probably already know, it is still a nice article and worth reading.

"The determination of the fans was overwhelmingly influential in getting me in there. Was I surprised that I had to audition? I guess a little bit. But I understand. That's part of life in Hollywood".

"I have started. I worked with Michael a few weeks ago and we did some of the opening dialogue, the opening speech and then a couple of scenes with Shia LaBeouf. Shia wasn't there, of course. I just worked from the script".

Nevermore of TFW2005 has discovered something rather peculiar with recent interviews and articles regarding Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, currently scheduled for release on June 26th 2009.

The production of the film has been cloaked in secrecy, but now it seems certain interviews and articles have been retro-actively edited in order to hide sensitive information about the film that has already been released online.

***SPOILERS***

Many of you may remember two articles, one published by Comic Book Resources here and the other by the MTV Movie Blog here, in which IDW writers Chris Mowry and Simon Furman spoke about the Transformers Movie sequel and how IDW was preparing for the film with it's upcoming comic book releases. In these interviews, Mowry and Furman confirmed that IDW does have a copy of the film's script and that the "Fallen" from the title of the film will indeed be the comic-book character The Fallen.

Now it appears that both articles have been edited and are missing any mention of the Fallen appearing in the film or of IDW possessing a copy of the film's script, which contradicts director Michael Bay's statement here that only a select few from Paramount and Dreamworks have seen the full script. The MTV article is also missing a brief description of the film's opening scene, as well as the confirmation that the autobot Arcee was going to appear.

To read quotes from the un-edited articles, check our original story here or read the quotes below.

:
"It's interesting that the second movie is using this character called the Fallen, which is a character that we created back in the Dreamwave days for this big series called 'The Dark Ages' which tapped into what had gone before. So these names and institutions like The 13 are rolling on into different incarnations."

:
We're going to explore the background of The Fallen — the main villain of the movie — as well as expand on the ‘Reign of Starscream’ story that we’re doing and tie everything in to what this next movie is going to be [...] The next movie starts out with just tons of action and there’s obviously going to be a lot of questions, so we’re hoping to answer some of those beforehand.”

In a recent Q And A at TFW2005, Marty Isenberg, Transformers Animated Story Editor who also shared some items at the HASBRO SDCC panel, also poured as much of his heart out as he thought he was allowed about a few different related hot ANIMATED topics.

Marty Isenberg-
"I'm still not entirely clear on what we can and cannot say about Season Three. So I will just say that we have not yet begun work on Season Four.

As for what MIGHT happen if there were to be, say, a THEORETICAL Season Three? Well, let's just say that many questions from Seasons One and Two would have to be answered, now wouldn't they?"

"A lot of ideas for this show start out with "wouldn't it be funny if..."

Q-
"What have been some things that you have found to be hard to cut out of a given story, Transformers or otherwise? Were there any concepts in a show you're worked on that you'd have liked to explore further? How is it decided what stays and what is cut?"

Marty Isenberg-
"There are a couple of funny trick-or-treat bits we had to cut from "Along Came a Spider" for time. "Velocity" lost a really nice scene where Sari distracts Bulkhead and allows Bumblebee to sneak out. "Megatron Rising" lost a significant scene, but not for time. The animation that came back from overseas was simply unusable. So I can reveal here for the first time that the Dinobots were SUPPOSED to join the battle in Part Two, only to have Megatron singlehandedly defeat them one-two-three -- basically to show what a badass Megatron is in his new body and how our heroes don't stand a chance. Ultimately the episode worked fine without that scene, and I suspect there would have been some disgruntled fans upset about how easily the Dinobots were taken down."

Transformers Movie director Michael Bay has once again commented on Shia LaBeouf's recent car accident. After stating that the car crash, which left LaBeouf with an injured hand and co-star Isabel Lucas with head injuries, would not delay filming of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (source), Bay has now spoken with Access Hollywood to defend his Transformers movie star, saying he was not drunk at the time of the crash.

:
“You’re gonna see — that’s gonna go away,” Bay said. “That’s fresh news… He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before.”

Bay also mentioned that LaBeouf's hand injury may even be worked into the script of the Transformers movie sequel.

More information is coming out regarding the sequel to last year's blockbuster Transformers Movie. Following news that the sequel is filming in San Pedro, we now have two interviews with some of the top talent at IDW publishing that gives us some new information regarding the "Fallen" from the new film's title, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

SPOILERS BELOW

The first is an interview on Comic Book Resources with Transformers writer Simon Furman, who mentions that the "Fallen" may very well be the famous character created for the DW comics.

:
"It's interesting that the second movie is using this character called the Fallen, which is a character that we created back in the Dreamwave days for this big series called 'The Dark Ages' which tapped into what had gone before. So these names and institutions like The 13 are rolling on into different incarnations."

Second is an interview with writer Chris Mowry, who corroborates Furman's statement about the "Fallen" being the DW-created character.

MTV.com was able to catch back up with Transformers star Rainn Wilson again and got a chance to ask him some hard hitting questions regarding his involvement in the movie and how difficult it is to deal with Director Michael Bay. What did Wilson say regarding this?

"I didn't read the entire script". Wilson keeping his comedic demeanor went on to say that Michael Bay was "a sweetheart. If you see him just go up to him and give him a big hug. He’s a BIG hugger.”

But that's not all Seibertronians. MTV has an exclusive of the video in which Rainn tells us the true title of the upcoming sequel.
