Seibertron has activated Missions again and posted the following:

Hey guys,

Since the site seems to be loading significantly faster with the new site design, I thought I'd give the missions a whirl again to see how the server handles having those back on. While I definitely did some things to improve the loading time of the pages, I'm very surprised at some of the results. Some of the things that are different about the code behind the current site structure really shouldn't have had the effect on load times that they did, but for some reason it's performing a helluva lot better.

We're sorry to announce that due to server issues we had to clear out the Mission and Arena logs.

Hopefully this helps us figure out what has been happening with the recent Arena battles and the lack of battle logs.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

Once again, a note about names.

There have been a couple of reports about the "F" word being used as bots' names, or variations of).

I want to remind everyone that this is a PG-13 site, yet young people do look at the site and may have parents that do not approve.

Please use your common sense when creating names for your fighters. The basic rule of thumb we use for names in the game is that if it isn't allowed on the message boards then it's not allowed in the game. And the "F" word is not allowed on the MB.

Please change those names immediately, and use a
little common sense while thinking of names.
This is a Transformers site after all.

Looks like it's back.

I may be a bit premature in posting this, but for now I'd say that the game is working again.

Please don't get too excited though, this may just be a phase while things get worked out. As far as I know we still don't know what caused the error, but I assure you that as soon as I find out more I will keep you all informed.

We are aware of the current bug that is in the game where you seem to have your bots always active. I have reported this to Glyph and Seibertron and it should be corrected shortly.

Right now I have found that after you complete missions and it says that your bots are 'Done' but still active click on theCR Chamber. It will show that they are recovering but they are not really.
Click into the Registry and you will find them deactivated, but not in CR anymore. Go back into CR and you should be able put your bots in to be healed.
You can then go back into the registry to active your healthy bots for more battles.

Hopefully this system works for you as it does seem to for me.

The thread for discussion is here.

EDIT: Another method that was mentioned was just simply refreshing the CR Chamber page. It worked for me, and it cuts down on going back and forth.

The assault on Agorahex was a shambles! You, supposedly the finest of my Decepticon warriors, allowed yourselves to be crushed by mere Autobots! And now the data from the Core is in Prime's hands... We must hope that the weaklings do not recognise its destructive potential!

We cannot allow the Autobots to profit from their good fortune. I have despatched spies to discover what the Autobots have gained - discover, and steal for our own use. Unlike some of my other warriors, they never fail me...

Prepare yourselves, my Decepticons. When the time comes, we must be ready to strike back at the accursed Autobots. Do not fail me again...

Perceptor's report on the Agorahex data

Perceptor has completed his work on one of the datatracks recovered from Agorahex. His report follows:

"The recovered datatracks, which we presume to be direct copies of data held in the Core, are fascinating in the extreme. Much of the data is corrupted, but this particular datatrack appears to contain a schematic for a previously-unseen configuration of Transformer. If I were to hazard a guess, I might say that the configuration resembles a number of holovisual records relating to massive, city-sized Transformers...

"While the datatrack itself has been too badly affected by the radiation in the city to allow a complete reconstruction, I have been able to extract certain data which will allow us to make use of some features of this configuration. Most notably, the schematic has provided a means of harmonising weapons batteries with repair systems, which was previously impossible. In addition, I have extrapolated from this data a method of installing smaller-scale repair equipment in a more mobile vehicular form.

I have passed the resulting data to Wheeljack and his engineering team. They should have the new configurations ready for use by the time you read this report. I will also continue my work on the remaining datatracks to see what useful data may be gleaned from them."

Autobots, we have a new weapon in our war against the Decepticons, one which they have no means of replicating. Roll out!

As much as several missions have been already fought (sorry, I was at work) the Dark Tidings tournament is a go.

Unfortunately it was delayed by some apparent down time to the site but since everything's going now we'd suggest you check out the Dark Tidings: Mission Dispatch thread and join in to support your faction.

In order to keep the message board from getting too cluttered, visit the Dark Tidings - Agorahex Bar to post your battle discussions.

Have fun players, because we know you'll like some of the surprises that are in store for you.

Despite our best efforts we have been forced to push back the tournament one last time. The battle for Agorahex will now begin on Monday 25th April.

Check out this thread for full details about the new start date.

Sorry we had to do this, folks, your patience is much appreciated. See you on the 25th, when we confidently expect the tourney to be every bit as good as we first planned!

I'm officially putting the tournament on hold for the time being until we can work out a few issues with the game until we have enough time to work out the bugs that came out of the upgrades today. We're still trying to work out the process of moving files from the design mode to the live mode so please bear with us while we continue going through these transitional phases. Thanks.
