IDW Publishing's Editor-in-Chief Chirs Ryall has leaked some information pertaining to upcoming Transformers comics releases over on the
IDW Publishing Forums.
Be warned that there are many slight spoilers over the future of IDW's Transformers comics, without any names or plotlines being revealed.
On
Page 6 Ryall discloses that Simon Furman is
not leaving IDW:
Is Simon leaving us? Oh, no. I would never want to lose Simon, and he's got lots of things planned for this year and next. Will the Revelations arc be the very end of this entire storyline? Well, no.
Next up Ryall discusses the "All Hail Megatron series:
We'll likely announce details of All Hail Megatron by week's end (and show two amazing images from it. Plus I'll no doubt show more in my blog). I expect that announcement to rock things quite a bit, so it'll be fun to let the initial reaction to that settle, get the Focus On in everyone's hands.
Before going on to tease us with:
there's no mandate to focus on the movie--we'll have some nice G1, movie, and Animated comics to come, so all areas will be nicely represented.
Ryall then goes on to say that we had all be ready for the introduction of "Trevor Hutchison", someone who we cannot find by google searching.
To close Ryall then confirms in a later post that "Focus on the Decepticon's" will be available within the next fortnight.
But wait, there's more! In another
IDW Forum thread Ryall discloses even more hints about the future of IDW Transformers comics:
The general direction is bad-assery. The general direction will also become more clear after we announce All Hail Megatron.
The G1 continuity will still be the most prominent of all the lines, but the movie continuity and the Animated will also be represented (with new comics, not just the screengrab books). Something for everyone.
The BW universe isn't dead at all. We'll do more.
And to close, Shane McCarthy, writer of the "All Hail Megatron" series will be joining in with Chris Ryall in an upcoming Q&A session sometime in the not too distant future.

We will be, starting this July.
Whether or not all issues will be reprinted is not yet known, however 9 issues of the Titan UK Magazine have gone to print thus far, the first 6 being based before the movie, issues 7 and 8 set "while the credits of the Movie were rolling" and starting with issue 9, an all new story set post movie in an alternate Universe, where Megatron has died, but the Decepticons were victorious in the battle of Mission City.
All stories are written by Simon Furman, with art duties shared across the issues by artists such as veteran Geoff Senior (#1), Nick Roche (#2), Andrew Wildman (#3), Don Figueroa (#4), Guido Guidi (#5) and Marcelo Matere (#6).

Chris Ryall has once again updated
his blog with some information pertaining to the upcoming
IDW Publishing's "Reign of Starscream" comic, set in the 2007 Movie continuity.
Ryall not only mentions that this comic will likely have little to no bearing on the upcoming
Transformers Movie Sequel, but also gives some insight to what will occur during the series. Be warned there are some minor spoilers ahead:
"
Doing sequels to movies that nevertheless don't affect any coming sequel have a long tradition in comics (anyone else remember Han Solo's giant green bunny sidekick in Marvel's STAR WARS series?), and we've been having a lot of fun with this one. Expect to see some new faces, some familiar faces, some explanations for certain, shall we say, quirks in the movie's script, a return to Cybertron (and another planet, this one in our solar system), and much more in this series."
"Reign of Starscream" is written by Ryall and Chris Mowry with Alex Milne and Josh Perez, on art and colours duty respectively, and should hit the shelves in mid April 2008.

More Botcon Mold Rumors...
Please ignore this if you do not want to possibly be spoiled...continue on at your own risk.
'Darthconvoy', a source that posts on another site --A source who also just happens to have had CORRECTLY predicted all the molds, and color styles for the 5 piece boxed set for Botcon 2008-- reports that the two molds that will be in the other add-on set are...
Toy Rumor 1 with grey and green color.
Toy Rumor 2 with remolded head.
Are these the actual toys? What characters could they be? Check out the galleries of these toys in their original forms by clicking above!
And in case you forgot, the other rumored add-on set is none other than CLASSICs Hot Rod with black paint job, and 'evil' mirrorverse goatee, and Energon Megatron, in heroic shades of blue, black and grey, possibly including a kinder, more compassionate remolded head.
Of course, it's a rumor until we see or hear more!
Join the already going thread
here that gives a little more detail to the rumor...only a little.
New Update!
Pete@Botcon has stated on the club forums that this year's set is balanced as far as numbers are concerned with 7 Autobots and 7 Decepticons. So keep that in mind while speculating who these new characters are.
