There is a second Transformers: Armada commercial which aired 8/17 on Cartoon Network. During the first 5 seconds of the commercial, I swear to Primus those are original Generation One Transformers ... tell me this isn´t Crosshairs (G1 Targetmaster) next to Beachcomber (G1 Minibot), Skyfire (G1 Autobot Air Guardian) in jet mode, and Strafe (Technobot)??? Not familiar with G1? Check out Skyfire´s, Crosshairs´, Beachcomber´s, and Strafe´s image galleries. I´ll work on getting a recording of the commercial tonight through tomorrow.

The first set of many new Transformers: ARMADA screen captures have been posted to the site. 60 NEW images featuring Armada Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Leader-1 can now be found in the all-new Transformers: Armada section! The images are available in two sizes: 320x240 and 500x375 for your viewing enjoyment. These images are from the commercial which aired immediately after the Masters Of The Universe movie on Cartoon Network earlier on Friday (8/16) afternoon. The commercial featured the voice of Peter Cullen, the original Optimus Prime. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the next week!

Thanks to ToonZone.net, we find out that Transformers: Armada will air after Masters Of The Universe ("He-Man", 10:00pm) at 10:30pm, right before Cartoon Network´s Saturday night run of Adult Swim.

The 90 minute Armada movie that airs at the end of August has a name. According to New Brandon of the 2005 boards, the Armada movie will be called "First Encounter".
