A rumor starting here suggests that Transformers Animated will conclude after it‘s third season. The rumor began as an anonymous source claimed that Animated would end after season three. Then more un-named sources from within Cartoon Network were unwilling to confirm or deny the rumor when asked.

Additionally, Marty Isenberg, the writer for Transformers Animated, has been asked to leave his office at Cartoon Network.

Now on Derrick Wyatt’s blog, he too was asked if season three would be it for Animated. He responded:

Sorry, I can‘t comment on this.

Which could imply that he cannot say the rumor is false…

Stay with Seibertron.com as updates surrounding this ongoing story come in.

A Delightful Tedium- Derrick Wyatt, Transformers Animated Lead Director/Designer, has updated his blog once again.

This time he includes a picture collage of what one would consider SPOILERS for things related to the new season.

"Okay, not really major. Actually, these would be the most minor spoilers humanly possible. Some are so incidental they have no bearing on the plot at all. Blink and you'll miss them!

Models drawn by Irineo Maramba, Art Lee, Brianne Drew-Hard, James Lim, and myself."

-Disciples of Boltax- With this week's update, Jim Sorenson shares the animation model and design created for Megazarak's cartoon transformation. Megazarak is the eqivalent of the U.S. G1 Scorponok. While not included in either Ark Compendium Book, this piece and the others we have seen are nice connections to the old television animation, and appreciated by fans who own the books and want more, and fans of the art and design of the period.

You can view 'The Disciples of Boltax' here, and then follow the link to the newest blog about Megazarak's original illustrations.

Thanks to Jim for his continued willingness to share these pieces of Transformers history with us. A sample of the page is teased below.
