If you´ve been patiently awaiting the Dreamwave Profile Books. You’ll be glad to hear that there’s an excellent reason for their tardiness. The original plan was to have each line of toys represent one million years of TF history. However, that plan didn’t work out as well as it was hoped. Since many characters became other characters later in the series, it was just a huge problem. Adding to the problem was that much of the text contradicted what Simon Furman had written for The War Within. The profile books are being re-written by Dreamwave’s ‘in-house’ guys instead of Destination Entertainment (the company originally drafted for the books) and will be released with less specific info. Fans should be happy to know that Dreamwave is making the effort to keep the current continuity as straight as possible. Discuss all this in the

The Transformers brand has grown immensely over the past 19 years and sees no end in sight. The brand itself continues to "transform" attracting new people to our favorite hobby. The staff of SEIBERTRON.com would like to thank Hasbro for continuing to support the Transformers even when times seemed uncertain for the brand during the early 90s. The Transformers, as well as GI Joe and My Little Pony, have contributed greatly to the success of the Providence, Rhode Island company. For more information about Hasbro, check out
The History Of Hasbro. While you´re taking a walk down memory lane, don´t forget to visit
The History Of Hasbro´s Transformers (now with pictures) for the "near-complete" run down of Hasbro´s Transformers toy lines.

Hasbro´s Tidal Wave will not be painted in his television counterpart´s colors. However, Takara´s SHOCKWAVE (Tidal Wave´s Japanese name) may have the (arguably better) television show colors. Takara has already altered several of the Armada figures to feature more show-accurate colors such as the Street Action Team and both Optimus Prime figures. Don´t be surprised if Shockwave features the familiar Purple/Black/White scheme.

The upcoming Tidal Wave figure will not appear in the same colors as his television counterpart. Hasbro thought that there´d been too much purple used on the Armada figures, so they altered the paint scheme on the figure after the animators had already gone with the black/white/purple scheme.
