CelebWatch with Will Keck on USA Today has video report with Tyrese Gibson, who plays sgt. Epps in the Transformers Movie, up on their site. Not really an indepth interview, but a fun, short segment to watch. Underneath the video clip there is an article about Gibson and the movie, which was released a few weeks ago.

Entertainment website, Variety.com, is reporting that Transformers opened up pretty strong on its first night by wrapping its robotic hands around an estimated $8.1 million dollars. Ratatouille and Die Hard 4 also performed well yesterday by fetching $7.5 million and $4.3 million respectively. Click here to read the full article at Variety.com. My dad was able to pick up a copy of the Nucleus which is Kirtland Air Force Bases news paper in Albuquerque New Mexico. On the cover it spoke of a special free screening of the Transformers Movie for any servicemen who wanted to go as thanks for Kirtland AFB's contirbutions to the movie. Kirtland supplied a few CV-22 Osprey's for filming in Southern New Mexico at Holloman Air Force Base.

Fanboy Planet had the opportunity to talk with actor Mark Ryan, who voices Bumblebee in the Michael Bay Transformers Movie. In the interview Ryan talks about the movie and his (short) speaking part as the guardian of Sam Witwicky.

"During one of these many sessions Michael gave me some new dialogue that I'd never read before and we just played around with it. We tried several character voices at different pitches. I wasn't sure how it would be used but obviously I knew by then the Bumblebee back-story. That set me free to voice it with an understanding of the emotional weight of the character and the dramatic effect it might have at that moment in the story".
