You may have noticed that there are some new missions showing up in the lists... Credit for these goes to a number of HMW players who posted their ideas in the HMW discussion forum - thanks! I'm still looking to add more missions as we go along (how many times can the Decepticons blitz Vector Sigma or make a pass at that Nucleon anyway? ;-]) so if you have a great idea for a new mission, post it in the forum and there's a good chance you'll see it appear in the game!

And if you're paying attention, you'll also have noticed that the XP/€ bonuses for winning a mission have been increased in proportion to the mission level. Now you should have a good chance of making a decent return from missions even if you're not the top performer. If you just stick to the arena for all your battles, now might be a good time to give the missions a try - you're missing out on at least half the game if you don't!

New Titanium Transformers have been posted by TFormers.com. There are now profiles for 6-inch War Within Jetfire, 6-inch War Within Thundercracker, 3-inch G1 Predaking, 3-inch G1 Grimlock, and 3-inch Energon Scorponok. Here are the bios:

"TRANSFORMERS® TITANIUM SERIES™ Die-Cast JETFIRE®

Before the Great War between the AUTOBOTS® and DECEPTICONS® broke out, JETFIRE was a partner and friend to STARSCREAM®. The two were as close as brothers; the one as calm, rational and slow to anger as the other was jealous, erratic and arrogant. When STARSCREAM joined the DECEPTICONS in attacking the AUTOBOT® held cities of CYBERTRON™, JETFIRE was slow to choose sides. He was hesitant to join in the slaughter of the largely defenseless AUTOBOTS, but did not want to take up arms against someone he'd considered a friend.

When the full extent of the treachery of the DECEPTICONS became clear, however, JETFIRE joined the AUTOBOTS without reservation. The anger he felt at his betrayal by STARSCREAM never waned. He fought his former friend at every turn. The sky over many a battlefield filled with fire as the two master fliers engaged in dogfight after dogfight, neither ever completely destroying the other.

Detailed die-cast metal JETFIRE figure changes from warrior robot to monster vehicle and back! Figure comes with display stand.

SUMMARY:

Intricately detailed die-cast metal JETFIRE figure changes from robot to vehicle and back! Figure comes with display base. Ages 4 and up.

Product Name: TRANSFORMERS® TITANIUM SERIES™ Die-Cast JETFIRE®

Category: Boys
Brand: TITANIUM SERIES™

TRANSFORMERS® TITANIUM SERIES™ Die-Cast THUNDERCRACKER®

THUNDERCRACKER was so named because of his unique sonic abilities. Even at low altitudes and speeds, he is able to force super-compressed air pulses through his engine intakes, giving him a burst of acceleration and generating a focused sonic boom that can shatter reinforced glass and deafen unprotected audio receptors. He is further able to modulate his sonic booms to affect the sensory response processors of enemy targets, causing panic and fear.

Recruited to the DECEPTICON® cause by MEGATRON® himself and assigned to the elite Seeker squadron under STARSCREAM®, THUNDERCRACKER proved himself to be a deadly and effective warrior, both on CYBERTRON and Earth. Working alongside fellow Seeker SKYWARP®, he attacked and destroyed the AUTOBOT® stronghold at Altihex, and nearly succeeded in destroying Protihex as well.

TRANSFORMERS® TITANIUM SERIES™ Die-Cast GRIMLOCK®

Mightiest among the DINOBOTS®, GRIMLOCK masked a surprising intelligence behind simplistic speech patterns. His contempt for the weak kept him often at odds with OPTIMUS PRIME®, but his hatred for all those who exploited their strength at the expense of others kept him always firmly on the side of right. Though he could bring a huge array of weapons to any fight, he preferred to close with his enemies, wielding his Energo sword in robot mode, or simply crushing his enemies’ limbs with his powerful jaw as a tyrannosaurus.

Poseable, die-cast metal figure is an awesome addition to your collection. Figure comes with metal display stand.

TRANSFORMERS® TITANIUM SERIES™ Die-Cast PREDAKING®

As near a perfect warrior as any robot ever to join the DECEPTICON® ranks, PREDAKING was a savage force of destruction. Melding the predatory instincts of five beast-bots, he had no equal as a warrior. Responding without thought to any threat and never stopping until every enemy was destroyed, war was his natural environment, the scattered ash of a cooling battlefield his lair, the stink burn machinery his food.

Poseable, die-cast metal figure is an awesome addition to your collection. Figure comes with metal display stand.

TRANSFORMERS® TITANIUM SERIES™ Die-Cast SCORPONOK®

For SCORPONOK, honor and duty came before all else in his quest to see his adopted home world reborn. The opposed philosophies of DECEPTICON® and AUTOBOT® meant little to him except as means by which the warring factions might be manipulated to his ends. Nearly as powerful as MEGATRON®, not even the DECEPTICON leader’s tampering with his core programming was enough to completely subvert his sense of duty. He eventually sacrificed his life in the final apocalyptic battle that saw the return of his living world to the Universe.

Poseable, die-cast metal figure is an awesome addition to your collection. Figure comes with metal display stand.

TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!!

SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT UNVEILS LENTICULAR COVER FOR TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE 20TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION DVD

Fan Favorite Artist Don Figueroa Crafts Special Collectible "Transforming" Cover

New York, New York, September 5, 2006 -- SONY BMG Music Entertainment today revealed the collectible, limited-edition lenticular cover for the TRANSFORMERS: The Movie 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD on the DVD’s official Web site. Being released on November 7, 2006, this one-of-a-kind two-disc set has already become one of the most anticipated DVDs of the year.

SONY BMG revealed the first "transforming" image at Comic-Con 2006. When displayed, fans saw for the first time Optimus Prime appropriately situated in a position of prominence. Joining the Autobot leader are Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, Blaster and more of the most popular TRANSFORMERS characters. In August, SONY BMG released the second of two Figueroa images. In this piece, Hot Rod - as he transforms into Rodimus Prime - is grasping the Matrix of Leadership as it lights the Autobots’ darkest hour. Above, Unicron begins to destruct, while Galvatron, Arcee and Springer look on.

Since the publication of the two cover images, fans have been speculating about the collectible cover. Beginning today, SONY BMG is providing fans a preview of the lenticular cover on the official Web site of the DVD www.TRANSFORMERSthemovieDVD.com. The image will demonstrate the motion effect of the "transforming" images as the viewing angle changes.

For the 20th anniversary edition DVD, Sony BMG Home Entertainment completely re-mastered and color-corrected the film and will present Optimus Prime, Megatron and the rest of the star-studded Autobots and Decepticons in true splendor through three distinct versions: 16x9 Widescreen presentation, the Autobot Matrix of Knowledge presentation featuring trivia and fun facts about the movie itself; and a full-screen edition.

To further commemorate the 20th anniversary of the film, SONY BMG is providing fans with some extra-celebratory content that lets them track back to the true origins of the TRANSFORMERS. After careful consideration and preparation, Sony BMG has scoured the archives for the best TRANSFORMERS-related footage available, and the DVD will include the original commercials for the toy line and movie -- allowing viewers to see how and where the phenomenon began.

TRANSFORMERS: The Movie features the voice of Orson Welles in his final role, as well as stars Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Casey Kasem, Robert Stack, John Moschitta, Peter Cullen, and Frank Welker. The DVD also features a winning soundtrack featuring the iconic theme "The TRANSFORMERS" performed by Lion, and the popular "The Touch," performed by Stan Bush. The movie, set in 2005, chronicles the efforts of the heroic Autobots to defend their home of Cybertron from the evil Decepticons and Unicron, a huge robotic creature that devours planets.

For more information and regular updates on TRANSFORMERS: The Movie 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD log onto www.TRANSFORMERSthemovieDVD.com. New information will be posted each Tuesday leading up to the November 7th release as part of SONY BMG’s "Transformers Tuesday" campaign.
