Hasbro has released a new Press Release regarding the upcoming Mini-Con 3 packs ...

New TRANSFORMERS Classic MINI-CON 3-Pack images

Transformers.com is pleased to release the product images of the first wave of Classic MINI-CONS (Assortment 82416), which are part of the Classics program that pays tribute to the rich history of the TRANSFORMERS saga. These 3-packs feature the DINOBOTS, the NIGHT RESCUE TEAM, and the Demolition Team. These 3-packs are expected at retailers throughout the U.S. in late November and have a suggested retail price of $6.99.

The DINOBOTS fight where others fear to go. Adventurers through and through, KNOCKDOWN, TERRORSAUR and SWOOP are more at home in the thickest, most poisonous jungles of the galaxy than they are in the comfortable machine cities of CYBERTRON. When a mission requires animal instincts, sure feet and a laser-proof hide, the DINOBOTS are the ones to call.

Mini-Con Dinobots

The NIGHT RESCUE TEAM features STRONGARM, DIVEBOMB and FIREBOT—three young and brave AUTOBOTS fresh out of primary programming and too inexperienced to ever be afraid. When there are other robots in danger, and nothing will save them except a foolish charge into the dangerous and unknown, it's always the Night Rescue Team that gets called in. Their motto: “We bring light to the darkness”

Mini-Con Dinobots

If it can be built, the DECEPTICON Demolition Team of WIDELOAD, SLEDGE and BROADSIDE can bring it down. Every member of the team is an expert engineer, specializing in weakening and destroying the foundation of any structure they encounter. Before any important battle, you'll find the Demolition Team on site, tunneling beneath enemy fortifications.

TRANSFORMERS CYBERTRON: A new wave of Scout and Deluxe class figures is
now available. Hasbro has packaged the new figures very lighly in the
upcoming cases, so in order to carry these we have to mark them up a bit
more than I'd like too due to all the 'old' figures also included in the
cases. With that being said, the new items include Scout class Hightail
and Shadow Recon Mini-Con Team. Deluxe figures include redeco versions of
the Beast Wars 10th Optimus Prime Ape and Megatron T-rex - packaged in
Cybertron packaging as well as the awesome Smokescreen repaint. Check
them out here:

TRANSFORMER CLASSICS: Jetfire has been added to the Voyager class of
figures, this is currently being sold only as a set of 3 along with
Optimus and Megatron due to its 1 per case ratio. No image yet...

-------------
NEW ARRIVALS:
-------------

LORD OF THE RINGS - GIANT BALROG: NECA did a fantastic job on this
figure, very high quality figure with super paint and nice detail - we
were very impressed with this one after unearthing it from the complex and
protective packing box (this is packed in a brown box only - no display
packaging) They are going very quickly and your Gandalf figure needs
a worthy opponent on the shelf, and probably a larger shelf too.

VARIOUS TRANSFORMERS: A variety of TF items have been restocked in small
quantities including: #18 Sound Blaster, MP-02, Hasbro Astrotrain, Jazz,

PVC Megatron Exclusive.

GUNBUSTER ACTION FIGURE: We found a great deal on this cool little figure
from Kaiyodo, now just $9.99 instead of the original $17.99
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=KAI10027&mode=retail

High Wind for only $89.99

Daniel of Madman Entertainment has contacted us to let us know the results of thier Best of Transformers DVD Contest, held both here on SEIBERTRON.com and Austrailian Transformers fansite They Are Among Us.

We can now reveal the overall winner here at SEIBERTRON.com is....
Maximus Prime for his below comments on Starscream's Brigade:

Starscream's Brigade was my favorite also. It was the episode that made me love the Combaticons. After that episode I made it my mission to collect that whole team, and for being only around 13 at the time I mowed alot of lawns to do it!
It was also the first episode that I can remember Starscream actually getting a true punishment for turning on Megatron, and him actually doing something to retaliate.

Maximus Prime wins a Madman Transformers pack containing the Transformers Best Of DVD, Transformers Tshirts, Transformers the Movie, and Transformers Collection 6 which has the best DVD extras around! Plus his comments will introduce the 'Starscream's Brigade' episode on the DVD released in November!

Madman have also chosen the top ten episodes that will feature on the Transformers Best Of DVD, and will announce them shortly with the names of the people whose descriptions will accompany them on the DVD. In the meantime you can read all the submissions made by SEIBERTRON.com members here on our forums.

Remember way back when, there was a rumor going around about possible beast minicons? Mulgon of ACToys.net has given us a peak at the next wave of upcoming Transformers Classics. See the images posted here, on the ACToys Forums.

Check out the all new Minicon molds!

Up to this point, we have images of 3 sets of Minicons:

The Autobot Dinobots:

Bio: "We fight where others fear to go." Adventurers through and through, no environment is too inhospitable for the DINOBOTS. In fact, these three tough (robots) are more at home in the thickest, most poisonous jungles of the galaxy than they are in the comfortable machine cities of CYBERTRON. When a mission requires animal instincts, sore feet, and a laser-proof hide, the DINOBOTS are the ones to call.

Knockdown
Swoop
Terrorsaur

The Decepticon Demolition Team:

Bio: "We play dirty." If it can be built, the Demolition TEam can bring it down. Every member of the team is an expert engineer, specializing in weakening and destroying the foundations of any structure they encounter. Before any important battles, you'll find the Demolition Team on site, tunneling beneath enemy (fortifications). Entire AUTOBOT cities have collapsed in a thunderous cloud of dust because of the work of these three.

Sledge
Wideload
Broadside

The Autobot Night Rescue Team:

Bio: "We bring light to the darkness." Young and brave, these robots are (???) out of primary programming, and too inexperienced to ever be afraid. Where there are other robots in danger, and nothing will save them except a foolish charge into the dangerous and unknown, it's always the Night Rescue Team that gets called in.

Firebot
Strongarm
Divebomb

Any help deciphering the words in () would be appreciated.

We will keep everyone posted with further developments.

Sit Back. Relax. Enjoy Your Fright. I'm pretty damn excited about next weekend's upcoming cult classic "Snakes on a Plane". To show my appreciation, I've put together a few special galleries featuring Samuel L. Jackson and 3 "snake" Transformers. The first gallery features the evil Predacon Quickstrike from Beast Wars and the second gallery features the venomous Maximal Night Viper. Enjoy!

If you don't have any idea what "Snakes on a Plane" is about, check out the official SnakesOnAPlane.com website. To find out about why people are so crazy about this movie before it even hits theatres on August 18th, check out Wikipedia's entry about Snakes on a Plane.

Snakes on a Transformer - Part 2: Featuring Night Viper

Here's a special promotional image I created for this theme ...

Snakes on a Transformer

UPDATE: I had the layers incorrect in the images I saved last night. The snake head on the left was supposed to go over the top of Octane, not below it like the right side snake. I uploaded the new images tonight. Check back later this upcoming weekend for the 3rd and final part to the Snakes on a Plane gallery featuring Beast Wars Neo Cohrada.
