Chris Mowry has done another update to his personal blog The Full Mowry with the, just approved for print, preview of Reign of Starscream #5. Other than the artwork itself, he doesn't tell us much about the book, except for mentioning that he's sure we won't be upset with the way it all "ends".

Mr. Mowry will also be attending the San Diego Comic Convention this weekend and will be working the IDW Publishing booth from Wednesday to Friday.

Attendees of this years San Diego Comic Convention will be treated to a host of great appearances and exclusive goodness, but one thing they won't get to do is meet the man, the myth , the legend that is Simon Furman. Mr. Furman will not be attending the SDCC this year so that he can, instead, attend the United Kingdom's biggest Transformers based convention: Auto Assembly.

Sad for SDCC attendees, but great news for our UK brethren. Mr. Furman will be joined by a host of other great TF legends such as Andrew Wildman, Geoff Senior and Staz Johnson. And he also states he'll be bringing along lots of goodies for attendees to get signed.

Seibertron.com member BlackMagnus has just given us our first look at the mystery Spotlight comic due out from IDW Publishing. It looks like Blurr will be getting some spotlight love this time.

The Transformers Mosaic Deviant Art page gives us the details on the upcoming book. Freelance Writer Shane McCarthy will be doing the script, Casey Coller (artist of the 'Killing Joke Megatron') will be doing the pencils and inks, and Joana Lafuente of the IDW Publishing Draw a Cover Contest fame will be doing the colors.

Check out the Deviant Art page for a 4 page preview of what to expect.

UPDATE!!!

Here's the official announcement from the Mosaic crew:

Announcing SPOTLIGHT: BLURR

For those of you Mosaicons not fully up to date with the latest news from the offices of IDW PUBLISHING, Transformers: Mosaic (in concert with IDW) is very proud to inform you all that the talented and dynamic duo Casey Coller and Joana Lafuente will be making their (interior) art debut in December, when IDW release TRANSFORMERS SPOTLIGHT: BLURR.

Both Casey and Joana have contributed some simply amazing art to the Mosaic project, and continue to be valuable supporters of the project.

Casey has contributed some stunning artwork to both Mosaic and the War Journal project, and was the winner of the "Are You the Next Transformers Cover Artist?" competition we ran a few months ago. His first official comic cover; the Apocalypse Comics "Killing Joke" cover for ALL HAIL MEGATRON #1 was released just last week.

Joana, a wildly talented colorist and illustrator (and runner-up in the aforementioned Cover Contest), has produced a good number of Mosaics as well, some of which are the most popular amongst readers.

We really couldn't be happier for them both, and we're very proud to see them have a shot at contributing to IDW's epic TRANSFORMERS comics!

To celebrate this fantastic occasion, Transformers: Mosaic is very blessed to have this exclusive preview of Casey and Joana's comic, and would like to thank IDW PUBLISHING for allowing us the honor of sharing this sneak peek with Casey and Joana's Transformers: Mosaic fanbase.
