The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

On an announcement on his website, Wildwords, Andrew Wildman, the artist for many of the UK generation one comics, as well as, Dreamwave's 'War Within: The Dark Ages' series, stated that he was now selling his original line art for many of the pages from different issues of that very series...Dreamwave's 2nd War Within story arc, The Dark Ages.

:
All the pages are on heavyweight Dreamwave Bristol Board and are signed and offered here for £25/$50 per page plus post an packing. Or if you like just have a browse through for the fun of it.
This was a great series to work on. Written by the definitive Transformers scribe, Simon Furman. Originally published as a six issue series by Dreamwave it was then collected as a Trade Paperback by Dreamwave and more recently by current Transformers publishers, IDW.

There are some really great pages to at the very least take a look at the line art for. You can find pictures of the War Within modes of many of your favorite Generation 1 Transformers including Prowl, Grimlock, Jetfire, Devastator, Defensor, Springer, Trypticon, and many more!

Enjoy looking at, and maybe purchasing, Mr. Wildman's wares for sale! These would be excellent pieces to add to any collector's display.

Thanks to IDW Publishing's head honcho Chris Ryall's blog, we have confirmation that IDW's Transformers Comics will be released on Thursday the 4th of September 2008, due to Labour Day.

Two Transformers Comics will be released, both reprints of previously released UK material, written by Simon Furman:

- Transformers: Best of the UK: Time Wars #2
- Transformers: Saga of the AllSpark #3

Saga of the Allspark #3 continues with the pre 2007 movie based stories that were released in the UK Transformers Magazine by Titan, while Time Wars #2 continues the story of Time Travelling Autobots and Decepticons fighting in the 'current' timeline.

And according to IDW's Transformers Editor Denton Tipton's blog, there will only be one Transformers Comic released by IDW next week on Wednesday 10th September 2008:
- Transformers Animated: The Arrival #2

So don't forget to head on down to your local comic store on Thursday the 4th, not Wednesday the 3rd for all your Transformers Comics!

Den Patrick, Assistant Editor for the Titan Transformers UK, updates his blog discussing issues related to the new UK Transformers ANIMATED comic, and the Transformers Animated idea in general.

:
Presumably Hasbro have created the television show to keep the new generation of fans sated after the Transformers 2007 film, and to keep the fanboys bitching until the sequel – Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Transformers Animated has been on NickToons since March this year, and is rumoured to be available on a terrestrial channel in the UK in the New Year.

The ‘bots have been given a American anime makeover to appeal to their audiences – in this case 5 – 10 year old boys. However, the ‘everyman’ of the show is in fact a little girl called Sari Samdaq, who just happens to have one of those fiendishly gifted inventor fathers...

You can read the entire blog here.

And here's the link to Titan's Transformers Animated comics webpage. The first issue is due out on October 23rd.
