With Spotlight: Wheelie not due out in stores until June 2008, it comes as a small surprise that Amazon already has a Pre Order available for the inevitable IDW Publishing release of Transformers: Spotlight Trade #3.

Transformers: Spotlight Trade #3 will feature the Transformers:Spotlight Issues:
Blaster, Arcee, Mirage, Grimlock and Wheelie, spread over 136 pages, and is currently available for US$13.59.

The tentative release date for Transformers: Spotlight Trade #3 is the 29th of September 2008.

Diamond Comics have updated their Weekly release schedule for Wednesday the 7th of May 2008.

There will be 3 Transformers related releases available, 2 of which are from IDW Publishing:

- Transformers Best of UK Space Pirate #3 $3.99
- Transformers Devastation TP #$19.99

The final item available this week is the:

- Transformers Visual Works $55.99

The Transformers Visual Works is a collection of Japanese Transformers Artwork from across the 20+ year history of Transformers.

IDW Publishing editor Denton J. Tipton has done another update to his blog spot. In the update he explains why the blog was on a sort of hiatus during Botcon season and his plans for more things in the future.

Wanting to make his first update in a while a good one, he gives us the completed cover art for Spotlight: Doubledealer. Art work done by E.J. Su.



Another bonus update he posts is a sneek peek at character art for a new letter column courtesy of Nick Roche. Behold DOUBLEDENTON!!!

UK fans will get their chance to meet the man, the myth and the legend that is Simon Furman courtesy of the upcoming Bristol's Comic Book Expo being held on May 10th 2008 at the British Commonwealth & Empire Exhibition Hall and Ramada Plaza Hotel.

Mr. Furman has updated his blog with information on his scheduled appearances along with info on other people that will be attending the event.

For those of us that had the chance to meet Mr. Furman at this year's Botcon, we can attest that he is the most gracious, welcoming and friendliest person you could ever meet.

Marcelo Matere has updated his deviant art page with the ink and colored versions of one of the covers that will be available for the Transformers: Animated #1 Comic book. The cover shows Sentinel Prime in the background appearing to view the Autobots via a holographic emulator.
