The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. The third and final story in the TFCC's Transtech/Axiom Nexus storyline involves a fiction written by Greg Sepelek, and S. Trent Troop:

"The Official Transformers Collectors Club is excited to present the final installment from its trilogy of TransTech illustrated short stories by Greg Sepelak and S.Trent Troop. Noted Transformers comic artist Nick Roche illustrates this members-only tale with colors by Winston Bolen. I, Lowtech is the third text story set in the teeming TransTech Metropolis known as Axiom Nexus and serves as a follow-up to the previous two stories: Gone Too Far and Withered Hope. I, Lowtech also offers a glimpse into the final hours of the current Transcendent storyline which concludes this November.

Something horrible has happened in the depths of Axiom Nexus. Bulletbike, a member of the TransTech elite, has had his life stolen from him. His fevered climb to regain his position will take him from the lowest of the Offworld Zones to the heights of TransTech society amid mystery, madness and murder. You will see the rise and fall through his optics as his one-Transformer struggle against his faceless enemy brings him into contact with beggars, thieves, smugglers and a seemingly unstoppable killer.
I, Lowtech"

The whole story is available for club members to download here after signing in.

With some accompanying images by Nick Roche to set the mood, this story is a great companion piece to the fiction that the club has released to date.

S250, noted for his ability to find information long before others, has been working on a slow reveal on his website.

He was giving pieces of art out as teasers and when you put the pieces together you would get the final spoiler-ific concept art in total.

Here is what the final completed piece looks like! Behold, the possible TFA version of Beachcomber, which if you remember was also listed on the Season 3 spoiler character list.

Behold...Beachcomber?

Thanks to the blog of IDW Publishing's Editor in Chief Chris Ryall, we know the Transformers Comic release for this upcoming Wednesday the 24th of September 2008.

While no new comics will be released, two previously released trades will be re-released in their second printing, meaning those who missed out on their first printing now have a second chance.

The two Transformers trades being reprinted are:
Transformers: Animated, Vol #1 (2nd printing), and
Transformers Spotlight, Vol #1 (2nd printing).

And thanks to IDW's Transformers Editor in Cheif Denton Tipton, we can tell you that we will see 2 Transformers Comics and a Transformers Trade released on Wednesday October 1 2008, all of which are reprints in one form or another:
Saga of the Allspark #4
Best of UK: Time Wars #3
More Than Meets the Eye Vol 1. TPB

Saga of the Allspark #4 continues the reprints from the Simon Furman written Movie prequel comics that have previously only been released in the Titan Transformers Comic in the UK.

Time Wars #3 is a reprint from the original Marvel UK comics, while the trade; More than Meets the Eye Vo1 is a reprint of the DW Trade of the same name.

Don;t forget, you can discuss anything and everything Transformers Comic in the Seibertron Comics and Cartoon Forum.

IDW Publishing takes 4th Spot

The company behind the latest installment of Transfoirmers comics, IDW Publishing continues it's steady rise up the comics sales charts, claiming the 4th spot in the competitive Comic Market.

From icv2.com:
Powered by its Whedon (Angel, Spike), Transformers, Dr. Who, Star Trek, and other licensed titles (see Top 300 Comics August 2008), IDW hit the #4 market share rank in comic stores in August, a new high for the company. IDW topped Image, which has generally held the #4 slot. Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse held their customary top three slots.

While one month does not a trend make, IDW has been steadily expanding both its roster of licenses and its in-house titles. At the very least, IDW appears to be ready to compete for a higher rank on an ongoing basis.

Good news for both IDW Publishing an the Transformers Fandom in general.

IDW Publishing's Editor in Chief Chris Ryall has updated his blog with a very welcome surprise.

It's a 5 page preview of the upcoming Spotlight: Sideswipe, written by Simon Furman, with "-tion" series artist E.J.Su on both art and colour duties for the very first time. Spotlight: Sideswipe is slated for a September 2008 release.

Spotlight: Sideswipe is the final issue in the Spotlight: Revelation arc, which in turn is the final issue in the long running IDW "-tion" series that started with Infiltration back in 2005, and will link into other IDW stories "Maximum Dinobots" and "All Hail Megatron".

Speaking of "All Hail Megatron", ComicNewsI have posted a 5 page preview of the upcoming Issue #3, which will be released this week on Wednesday the 17th of September.
The preview indicates that All Hail Megatron #3 will be very human heavy for at least the opening pages.

To check out the 5 page preview for Spotlight: Sideswipe, please click here, and if you are after a glimpse of the All Hail Megatron preview, please click here.
