Comic News International has been updated with an image of the cover for issue #3 of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Defiance mini-series, set for a March '09 release.

The character on the cover has been blacked out, but the body shape seems to hint at the new Megatron design.

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the comic shop, only one comic title was being released by IDW Publishing.

Thanks to RyallTime, the blog of IDW's Editor-in-Chief, we can confirm that one title will be available from IDW this week, on Christmas Eve, the 24th of December 2008 (or thereabouts):
- Transformers Animated Digest #6.

The 6th issue of the Transformers Animated digest contains screenshots from 2 Transformers: Animated episodes.

Next week, on New Years Eve (or thereabouts) there will also be another single release, with All Hail Megatron #6 due in comic stores, info provided by IDW's transformers Editor; Denton Tipton's Blog From the Tip.

Information on the upcoming Free Comic Book Day 2009 has been posted on the host website. The date itself is May 2nd, 2009 and the books that will be free that day, courtesy of the Gold sponsors, have been updated on the site.

IDW Publishing's offering to comic book fandom features a Transformers Animated/ GI JOE combo!



The first part of the book features and 11 page story about TF Animated's Optimus Prime as a young bot in the Autobot Academy.

The second and third portions of this three story book, features the JOE's in action in which "Secrets are revealed".
