SuperHeroHype.com caught up with Transformers Movie producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and talked with him about the possibilities of the sequel to the Transformers movie that will premiere July 2nd.

"I would say all of us were very reluctant to even think about it, because that's a presumption of success that none of us really want to make. Now that we've seen the film finished, now that the audience has told us that they love it when they see it, now that it feels like we have a successful entry a month from now, we've begun to talk about the ideas that we feel we can bring from the mythology that we didn't get a chance to do in this movie and the ideas in this movie that we'd like to experiment further with. There's no plotline, there's no writer hired. It's really internal to the filmmakers sort of going, 'You know what? We really love this and what about this?' I would say we're throwing ideas around right now in the hopes that we get to that place where we can sit down with a writer and really talk about it".

IGN.com has added a 2 page article on their site, in which they interview cast members Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox of the Transformers Movie.

"Michael Bay's the fastest, most intense director I've ever worked with. The explosions are right here. They're not CGI. You know, the other day they had me on top of one of these buildings one-handed with wire, a wire here and a wire there and a cube here. It was insane, but that's stuff that you usually shoot CGI and Michael doesn't do CGI. He likes seeing the immediate, he likes being able to go into his trailer and go, 'You're never gonna believe what I just shot.' Rather than have to wait for the CGI to be put into greenscreen. He likes to see immediately, so things like explosions, I mean, it's all very real".
- Shia LaBeouf

"You know, you sit and you think, 'This isn't realistic and people are going to hate this and I feel like a f--king douchebag and I can't do it. But then you think nobody's even going to give a s--t. There's going to be so much happening around this that they have to tie you into the story somehow, because there are a lot of people who would just watch a movie that was nothing but robots fighting. Sure, but the majority of people… I heard Shia say they want to see some sort of human interaction, human involvement, so those things have to, I think unfortunately they have to be thrown in there. And we're trying to steer away from -- we know the fans and they don't want any sappy bulls--t. We're trying to stay away from that and keep it as realistic as possible and as much about the Autobots and Decepticons as we can".
- Megan Fox

A new video interview with the voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, has appeared on www.transformersgame.com. The voice actor talks about doing the voice of the heroic leader in the game for the upcoming Transformers Movie, as well as on the original Transformers show.

"There is an interesting quote that is "Peace is the right of all sentient beings". That was one. "Hold on to your dreams. The world is built on dreams". And I am wondering if perhaps that wasn't one of the reasons why it was so succesful. You know. That kids had something to think outside of the box. That wasn't everything they had seen before".

Our very own Hotrod has recently had the chance to interview Anne Bryant, who was the composer to the original Transformers Theme song.

Some fans may not know who Anne Bryant is, however, they should. Bryant is the composer of original Transformers theme song. Just about every Transformers fan knows every word to the original theme song. There have been a few imitations of the theme over the years, including the Transformers Cybertron opening, but none of them have been able to replace the original. Bryant had been out of the spotlight for some time working on her Masterclick program until news of her lawsuit against Sunbow and BMI for money owed made news.

Unfortunately many fans forgot who Anne Bryant was until news of her lawsuit against Sunbow and BMI for money she is owed made news.
